@TheDuelist You had the worst spot on the map. And got killed by 1400, helped by grey and purple. With almost no help from your team. Dont listen to bad players who throw dirt to hide theyr own terrible game. You did fine in those conditions.
Tetra won this hard for his team, the only reason he died was because of the filthy ACU teleport and he still managed to take the teleporting commander out before dying. Honourable mention to Eectamus Prime though, that cruiser battery was very effective at territory control the only downside was they didn't really capitalise on it once they had control and of course he wiped out Team 2's best player
Flyboyboom talking a lot of smack for someone who left shield coverage to duel a chicken. He could've let his ravagers have a longer headstart, and then he'd have lived. The strat bombers got in a pass, that's why the orange chicken won the duel so convincingly. This video just barely catches the end of the blast animation, and they can be seen on radar if you watch from 46:00
Honestly, blue was the only competent player in this entire match. He was the only one on the constant attack while also claiming territory at the same time. Everyone else was just ecoing in their base because they don't know how to attack or expand. Orange was right about one thing, playing duel gap makes you a shit player.
@@Revenpsix2 Yeah he did a great job with the navy on the pond and shutting down one of the bases for the entire game. But deciding not to push probably cost them the game.
@@rileyc6757 so I'm aware I am necromancing your comment a month later, but what is duel gap? (I don't play, I literally just watch gyle if that is weird)
@@LovesPunchingBabies Dual gap is the most popular map among low rated players. It almost always becomes a turtle war because of how mountains and water are placed. I will say dual gap is good for new players who want to learn a given role. For example if a player wants to learn how to rush land, carry eco, or dominate air. It's very forgiving since it's 6v6. You can just look up "Gyle dual gap" and you'll find it.
32:00 - the most useless was not Hazard... it was the green guy, playing turtle. Hazard, even tho being very weak was an important part of the front wall. Once he died, it opened a wide way in to the team 1's bases which could not be easily fixed... Team 2 could ignore the green turtle boy and go straight for the other bases.
So I heard a lot of complaining about Frukt by Boom and Hazzard, but he did far better than either one did. Boom did absolutely nothing. He stayed in his base ecoing for the entire game WITHOUT making extensive defensive. Basically a turtle with no shell. Hazzard tried defending too wide an area, rather than create FOBs as defense points. As a result when he got pushed he had little to properly defend himself. Frukt on the other hand played a good early and late game. He used his fighter bombers to kill three enemy Commanders in the first half of the game, then was able to force Tetra onto the defensive for some time. If anything, Frukt prevented them from getting wiped earlier than they did. Boom and Hazzard should have held their weight more. On the other hand, Tetra and Prime were the absolute best of this match.

I don't know why you think that chat was toxic. THAT was not toxic, that was a mild annoyance about a single player. The game seems to work fine on my modern system (parts all purchased this year or last, win 10 OS) so not sure what your issue is, but it's not hardware. There is an NVidia bug, but the FAF devs have a patch for that.
Genuinely curious, why did Tetra first drop engi's at 22:21 and then wait till 23:46 only to move them away from the area on to the mid section of the map? Was it simply because of the cruisers' range he figured it would be a waste to try and build there or was there another reason?
I'm pretty sure he forgot about it because there was so much to do around 22:21. And then he probably sent idle engineers to reclaim in the middle by using the hotkey and wasn't ware that he would send those as well :D
Curious setup for the starting positions. I'd have split it at more of an angle, so Duelist's and FlyBoy's starting positions would have been for the opposite team.
Prime and Tetra joining together to be Statler and Waldorf for the final 1 v 2 was hilarious. I'm so glad chat was on for this. SPOILERS BELOW Honestly, even the "blame the team mate" part was good, because at first I thought yellowfrukt was going to practically carry with all the early kills, but then it was turtle and send small land attack groups without reclaiming or expanding, basically threw the game at that point.
Been noticing alot for the past couple fights i've watched here that they barely build any enough defenses to actually go both Defense and Offensive at the same time, They're playing too aggressive that they're only wasting alot of eco even if they're winning fights they're not expanding at all. Awesome vid as always Gyle
This is a very interesting map! Looks a total blast to play unfortunately some of the gameplay in this Average Joes game was rather abyssmal haha then again I haven't played since before this was on FAF so maybe I'd be just as bad. Though quite often the lack of radar and defence placement actually hurt my soul as did the absence of any micro/macro balance. Yellowfruit just allowing Tetra to build T3 SAM's right under his main base literally tore my soul in half and crushed it I can understand why his team flamed him for his passive play in the mid-late game. Also Erectamus killing himself when he had a 2 experimental push going is the dumbest thing I've seen on this channel in years. He KNOWS full share is off and does it anyway. This felt like watching an iron LoL game.
Wow, just finished the previous one, and now this is uploaded! Gyle is amazing, as always! Also, please don't turn off the chat, it's a fun thing to watch!
Pressure. FAF is about a lot of things, but pressure is a big. Gotta keep up pressure or the enemy can build up and do things like throw chickens at your defenses. Otherwise, amazing game.
So true man. The problem is it *feels* safer to sit in your base and build up even though that's often the most dangerous way to play. Not saying turtle strategies don't have their place, I once snagged a guys fully upgraded sera com because he tried to rush my t2 forward fire base and I had 3 or 4 t1 pd interspered with a few triads and a bunch of pillars that melted his hitpoints because he thought he'd just be brushing aside a few t2 pd and a t2 shield. But that was a bit of special circumstance and it's not a mistake you can count on your opponent making very often. Unfortunately I'm a bit shit at keeping the pressure up because my apm is trash but I get why I'm losing by not doing it haha.
This desperately makes me want to play. Mostly because I know I could smoke purp, light blue, green, pink, or yellow in this match. Absolutely insane watching this, I wanted to tear my hair out so bad
sad thing is... that yellowfrukt guy just refused to communicate with his team... 2 airplayers on team 1, one of them not communicating... the rest being salty about that... team 2 playing as a team... well what you expect? even tho erectimus did a great job in his corner
Games with better players/higher AVG score are much more exciting and thrilling, because there are more turnarounds, comebacks, drops and shenanigans. But good casting, as always.

Probably not relevant anymore but I think you mean the symbol for paused construction/upgrades or disabled systems. In the case of the Cybran air superiority fighters it signifies the stealth mode is not enabled or land scouts that don't have their cloak enabled to save energy costs of maintaining that state. Players also pause the upgrades on commanders if the stored energy threatens to run out to prevent power stalls which would disable all shield generators and radars etc.
I like the chat on... even with the salt. That said, fly was pretty toxic. Sure yellow wasn't doing all that much late game, but he's also one of the lowest rated players in the game so not as much sound be expected from him. The fact that he managed to kill multiple enemy players (that were higher rated than him no less) means he was far more valuable for the team than fly was.
I have to say it: FlyBoy crying on the chat, twice is the worst part of this game. Literally blaming purple and others while he was the most useless player on team 1, sitting and turtling for 30 mins until he died. Literally contributed nothing but his whining

YellowFruit had such a strong start with all those commander snipes, but he threw it all away.
It was like a reverse redemption arc. He was my fav from start and then I grew to hate him so much
I swear I saw an earlier cast on this map that went VERY similarly.
The Bard is known by Gyle.
And that's why HeroQuest is so great!
Praise be to mighty Gyle for another epic!
Praise be to Gyle! For the algo!
Gyle, you need the advanced strategic icons mod! It makes finding structures and other units SOOOO much easier.
I recommend the Medium size. :)

but Gyle missing everything important is part of his charm :)
it just wouldnt feel right if he suddenly knew what he was doing :P

completely baffled to why purples air support was no where when his team mate directly below had an experimental to deal with
given that 2 of team 1s players immedietly went into building "you shall not pass" lines after getting pushed I think I know how this will work out
edit: lol and then 33 mins in a cornered com who has no escape transport immediately blames others when his total game impact amounted to a few triads and a ravager.
Hazzard might have had a chance if Tetra hadn't been able to send zthuees all over the map by totally ignoring his direct opponent who was playing sim city...
cant push hold mexes without air support
Love u Gyle, commenting for the algorithm
I just played in this same map with Ryguys and was going to send it in soon!
this shit is crazy! downloading it now
Eeeeexcellent
I don't know why you think that chat was toxic. THAT was not toxic, that was a mild annoyance about a single player. However, on the positive side we get a look behind the scene, a peek in the heads of players and we get to see their strategies. For example, in this game clear superior communication won the game.
That was extremely spergy chat. If you think that's normal bantz, that might not be a great reflection on you, lol. Those people are kidults.
@@shadow7988 Nah, I'm probably just used to Moba level of toxisity because of Smite. You just learn how to filter the bullshit and find the usefull bits.
@@Revenpsix2 Bro I'm a 'boomer' by most zoomer standards. if we wanna talk toxicity let's talk the bantz in unreal tournament or quake. But there's a BIG difference between talking shit, and just being an ass-mad kidult having a sperg mental breakdown like you see in SupCom chat a lot of the time. There's genuinely something wrong with a lot of the players of this game. I played (an unhealthy amount of) DotA 2 as well and even that doesn't really compare to the crap I routinely see in SupCom chat.
@@shadow7988honestly, people now just are not good with an kind of negative chat. It's kinda silly
@@shadow7988 Hah. Hahahahaha.
Ohhhh my dude. You’ve clearly never played League before. That chat was milquetoast by comparison. Heck, the communication for the most part was superb!
Wow those Nothas do so much damage holy shit
Nice comeback from team 2. Thanks for the cast. Any chance you will cover a phantom game next?
Oh wow, a fresh video, woop woop.
Even if I can't get FAF to run and SC/SC:FA both don't work at all on modern systems to the point of having memory leak related crashes, I can at least enjoy some casting by gyle.
The game seems to work fine on my modern system (parts all purchased this year or last, win 10 OS) so not sure what your issue is, but it's not hardware. There is an NVidia bug, but the FAF devs have a patch for that.
Gyle, it would be a good idea IMO to turn off scoreboard and mini map when you go split screen. LOVE split screen and closeups tho!
Yeah, probably just didn't remember that they existed. APM and map awareness was really low in this match.
Curious setup for the starting positions. I'd have split it at more of an angle, so Duelist's and FlyBoy's starting positions would have been for the opposite team.
Hmm, unless they're close enough for T2 arty? I guess that'd be awkward.
"its the battle of the idiots"
Most accurate statement to appear in and describe that match.
What exactly did you say at 4:45? It sounded like "the newbiest of the jubies"....
This in fact new
Every time Gyle mentions Kramar, I can only think of Kramer from Seinfeld
Seinfeld: "Kramer! What're you doing Kramer?! You're moving up too far!"
Prime and Tetra joining together to be Statler and Waldorf for the final 1 v 2 was hilarious. I'm so glad chat was on for this.
SPOILERS BELOW
Honestly, even the "blame the team mate" part was good, because at first I thought yellowfrukt was going to practically carry with all the early kills, but then it was turtle and send small land attack groups without reclaiming or expanding, basically threw the game at that point.
Been noticing alot for the past couple fights i've watched here that they barely build any enough defenses to actually go both Defense and Offensive at the same time, They're playing too aggressive that they're only wasting alot of eco even if they're winning fights they're not expanding at all. Awesome vid as always Gyle
"Why aren't you listening?" says man who's done nothing but be toxic for 30 minutes
True. But you can kinda understand him, considering how he played with this guy 3 games already with similar results.
@@Revenpsix2 that's not an excuse
Erectamus and Yellowfrukt… These Faf people are so "stealthily" obscene!
By the way yellowfrukt being purple is a bit misleading.
Good to see that your back hope you and your family are doing well - does anyone know if forged alliance servers are down?
The chad play for fun Yellowfrukt vs the virgin screaming Flyboyboom (who also didnt do much)
where do i submit some replays for you i have a really good one!
YES, EPIC!!!
FIghter bombers are amazing even late game, they can do damage to asf in a pinch and can level an exposed power grid.
Hi Gyle & everyone, message to Gyle if he ever get a chance to read this or not? :)
Thank you for still casting after all this years Gyle.
"like a female dog in heat" 😂👏
kramar = hugs in swedish, how sweet :)
@@wubanizer Exactly.
wooohoooo he`s back! Yay
This desperately makes me want to play. Mostly because I know I could smoke purp, light blue, green, pink, or yellow in this match. Absolutely insane watching this, I wanted to tear my hair out so bad
How long has it been Gyle
I want to say... almost a year now 🤔
so when 10v10 then?
sad thing is... that yellowfrukt guy just refused to communicate with his team...
2 airplayers on team 1, one of them not communicating... the rest being salty about that...
team 2 playing as a team... well what you expect?
even tho erectimus did a great job in his corner
THAT RIDICULOUS ARTY RUNBY LOL.
Omg how blind can you get.
Games with better players/higher AVG score are much more exciting and thrilling, because there are more turnarounds, comebacks, drops and shenanigans. But good casting, as always.
Can someone please help me.... I have issue my supreme commander after i launched the game no music and no dialogue in cinematic only background sound and after i exit the game my screen were frozen ... How i fix this? Please
im wondering what UES stands for, United Earth ... ?
This is Supreme Commander or Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance?
how you manage to keep the game working... when i try to play with friends after 30 min game geting slower and slower
Hello there, i am actually interested to join the faf communty is there like an discord where i can talk with people or how can i contact you guys ? even because gyle talked about mods for faf
discord.gg/YWMXGCp6
Good fight, shame about how it ended though.
Tetra and Prime were the only good players in this match.
I don't play this game myself, so can someone tell me what the red little circle above some of the units means?
The small red circle shows that they are being targeted by an attack
Literally contributed nothing but his whining
worst part is he easily could've killed the chicken with better macro
Average Human may fit the new suits
Don't disable chat, TIA.
And it wasn't a shame about all the trash talking, it was all accurate.
5secs since upload! What are the chances!I gonna be a good weekend I can already tell
I love the new map
ayyy whats up FLAGAN
Shout out to Yellowfrukt!
FlyBoyBoom need to stop playing GAP, dude only turtle & ecoing. Didn't do jackshi* all game..And cry on a 800rateing player when himself is 1,1k rateing(more like 100rateing dogshi*)
This. Purple was terrible as well other than the great snipes but fly boy moaning about him and he died after 30 mins to 1 experimental as UEF and he did nothing offensively. Purple has good ideas but played so bad. He literally left 3 mass points in his 2nd base all game.
@@grovsey3656 yea,but he's only 800 rateing & maybe not use to be in pressure. And snipe-ing do hit your eco game alot.
@@SpacecatCybran no excuse to not build mexes on mass points literally inside your base........
Wow - T1 threw that one. 5 v 3 - and air did nothing and didn't react. FlyBoi had NOTHING - literally to defend himself. Stupid. Orange just building cruisers instead of adding at least some T3 Battleships to support the ground in that area at least. No further Air Strikes on enemy Com's and no scouting done as well. Low level...
Did we watch the same game? There were battleships. Having said that the air player for T1 was useless. After the Nothas stopped working seemed to have no ideas.
The guys complaining in chat were just as afk as air, but its always airs fault.
Lel about flyboy going on about adjancency at lategame
Watching yellowfrukt (not fruit Gyle ;)) was soooooooo hard
Purple was performing poorly mid-late game; However, his whole team managed to throw away the massive lead that purple made by killing halve of the opposing side.
