    Brother, I've been healing since day 1 from reading your reddit post and watching your first video on this channel. It's been 3 weeks since and I'm no longer housebound and can drive my car to the shops for quick trips. I learned from you that I had to shut down my inner critic and work on self-love and that I couldn't heal while I was obsessed with my own negative thoughts about myself. I was in fact telling my body that I was in danger 24-7. Thanks for all you've been doing, I owe you so much.

      YES! My reddit post. I put so much time and energy into perfecting that post. Im happy you found it and it helped you. When I was on my recovery journey I wished someone just made a very detailed post on how they healed. So I promised myself that if I healed I would go back and. heal others. And thats what I have done. YES! its about the nervous system feeling danger. we need to help it feel SAFE. Negative thoughts are signaling danger. You got this brotha!

    I did do anything different eating wise , i just had to pace myself, but it took so much time in the beginning the try and understand what was going going on because i thought it was me not keeping my mind busy and not staying busy enough, and boy was i wrong, it really intensified it, and then i had such a hard time trying to pace myself. But slowly it got better. Now after 3 years i was so close to having my life back and bam !!!!!, i caught a flu or something, maybe covid. Now my long covid symtoms have come back. Axiety mostly, now i know what i have to do . I really believe in my heart it will be quicker this time. Love to all

    Thanks Rob, that was just the pep talk I needed today :)
    There was a time during LC when being cautious was super important. Now I have the impression that some fears (of worsening my state if I exagerate with activities) developed a life if their own, causing more stress and anxiety, and keeping me away from full recovery. 4 years now, on bad days I feel at 80%, but on good days I feel at 97%😊

      Im happy it helped! once I knew it was nervous system, I have been sick many times and at first made a strong effort to not be afraid of getting sick. Symptoms never came back.

    • @Roberto-Escobar
      @Roberto-Escobar 6 місяців тому

      Yeah I had that too but thats more like POTS symptoms. Took me to find out it was more of the POTS side of things. lay down and take your HR, and stand up and take HR right away, if its great than 30-40 BPM then MD's will say its POTS. It's all dysautonomia.

    Hi Rob ! you videos are nice and are helping me to hang on and keep fighting.
    Just please, don't fall into the "survival bias". Long covid is complex and a lot has no been discovered yet.

    • @Roberto-Escobar
      @Roberto-Escobar 6 місяців тому +3

      Sadly I do suffer from survival bias. I worked with many clients and those that commit heal. But i think it's very important to have empathy for those suffering. I also dont believe healing is simple. I believe it's very complicated with moving pieces. and it takes TIME. It requires patience on our part. But to think that some just cant heal....it's not in me to believe that. Its not what I see with in people I have worked with. But I dont want anyone to feel guilt or shame that they haven't healed, instead I hope they are inspired by my videos so they can continue their journey and to not give up. ❤️

    Hello Rob, I am sorry about this question. I have been on my long Covid recovery journey for 18 months. The MRI brain scan just came back and all is normal. I have weird symptoms that seem like Parkinsons. Did you experience similar symptoms? I would be grateful for any feedback.

    • @Roberto-Escobar
      @Roberto-Escobar 6 місяців тому +1

      Yes I had the shaking of the hands non stop. From my research it's from the adrenals being over active due to the nervous system being in fight or flight chronically
