Great video Rob! Living in Melbourne for the last ten years (originally from Adelaide) this was the first time I brought my bike with me to join in the TDU event. Absolutely loved it! I participated in the Maap/Specialized group rides through the beautiful Adelaide Hills (even saw you ride past Norton Summit). I will definitely be making the annual trip back for this event in the coming years. Kudos to SA for putting on such a great event.

FYI - your interview with Adam Hansen was inspired - great to hear what he gets involved with and excellent to dispel some silly urban myths/conspiracies about the UCIs ban on crooked brake levers...
Hey Rob, I just wanted to say how impressive and admirable it was how Julian Alaphilippe participated in this race. And I think it's relevant to your question to him and perhaps motivated him. Clearly he honoured the spirit of the TDU by putting in a whole hearted effort. He could have done less but he went deep and showed how great he is. He's a true champion. It was special and we were lucky to see him do this imo.
Agree that he was there to race, and that's a good sign of a true pro cyclist. I'd love to think that my question motivated him, but... 😃 not too sure. Still, I'll take the compliment. - Rob
