Hi Rick I agree about the knees and back. After years in the military Ive ended up with a metal rod on each side of L4 L5and L6 vertebrae in my lower back and knees for years compensated for my back. Cycling has been a godsend in the last few years to build the muscle in my legs to compensate for the lack of strength in my joints and back. I wish I could tell the young man I was how running about with heavy packs was going to cause me so much pain and discomfort in my later years.
I can only imagine Graham, I am so glad it was Golf I played and not rugby or football. The Gusto I had for sport would have killed me now lol. All the best.

Hi Rick, my knees went years ago, Tenerife is the place I do more walking than anywhere else with the help of painkillers or beer, I know which I prefer to take, you said your life has been in three stages, well they say third time lucky , I’m glad you’re feeling settled in your new apartment, all the best for the future to you both

My husband plays golf and occasionally has a sore back but he loves the game and plays on regardless. He says if Tiger Woods can do it so can he! Lol. My Mum is 89years and has crumbled disks-for a number of years was weaned on to the correct level of a drug called Gabapentin.Seems to have relieve the pain.

Hi Rick, you say you'd been swinging golf club wrong over the years did you adopt a different approach to your students. I was watching or reading the other day someone was talking about impostor syndrome I couldn't remember if it was your channel?. I caught the new nick faldo channel the other day he played around with Chris pratt it only lasted half an hour it was interesting how he got his big break from humble beginnings, was told not to take acting lessons has a wonderful agent balanced life style so modest doesn't take live to seriously he reminded me of you so many similararalties well worth the watch not your typical Hollywood big head. I'd heard the name but never seen his films, but I will look out now for his films.

In Golf, my problem was my teachers in the 80's were not the best, so I practised as hard as I could, but my swing has faults. Practice makes permanent not perfect lol.

Hey Rick, have you thought of supplementing your income by chauffeuring or taxi drivering the rich & famous in your local area. A word of warning my mate used to be a taxi driver he had to give it up. He was sick of being taken for a ride & fed up of people talking behind his back. Lol PS my mates knees are shot to pieces right now it's not through ware & tare it's through praying for sex with his Missus.
