Area 51 was once a secret facility run by the U.S. Air Force. A famous conspiracy theory indicates that back in the 50's the Air Force was housing remnants of a crashed UFO, and even recovered some alien bodies. More than likely it is a testing area for some advanced and experimental vehicles and/or weapons.
