and the HUD after it's down in the dash will stay there until you raise it. - you can set the pre--set buttons to control it as well - I like the HUD but my wife does not a simple press of the button and it goes up or down.... This is a part of some trim levels and not others - I know it comes with ICONIC (highest trim)

Nope. We have two Mini Coopers and the paint still looks perfect after 3 years.
I have an '18 JCW F56 with 79,000 miles on the ODO and not mine either although I keep the stiff rubber weather strip coated with 303 protectant.
New one should be automatic hand brake I think😅
They went back to the manual maybe for enthusiastic drivers.
