Wonderful videos!! I do have a glitch though - at end of this video all my Pages have the same title "Contact Me". I'll work to see if I can correct, just wanted you to know. I'll keep you posted. BTW I've been trying to build this blog website for almost 2 years, struggling very much so. I'm so glad I found your Quick Tips! You have all the pieces laid out in a simple and concise manner. I can tell you've been doing this for quite a few years and you are a professional. My first blog website wasn't very good and I wasn't sure how to correct so I started over just last month after I found Quick Tips. Thank you!! P.S. Well, that was easy, I deleted the Page Title and added it again. This time I went to the site to view the pages and page titles are displaying correctly for each main menu page. So no big deal.
@@ParamFreelance Actually - I realized I had been viewing the pages while developing. When I went completely out and viewed the pages all were displayed correctly.
is it possible to add a text element to a template. use that template on multiple pages and than edit the text specifically for the different pages? (so that i have different text on the different pages)
After completing this video how do I then edit a page? I had not previously created content before creating the Single Page Template. I did place a Text Editor and Image widgets on the Single Page Template. If I go to "Edit" that Page I I get 2 choices - Edit with Elementor or Back to WordPress Editor. Editing with Elementor and adding text and/or images they display on each and every page. If I Edit with WordPress Editor they display in the Edit page, however, they do not display when Previewing or updating the page and looking at the site and refreshing.
First create template using Elementor Theme builder as shown in the video. While creating page template you must add the Post Content Element to the template so that it will give you option to add content section for each page. Only post content element will be editable section for each page. All other elements will be common for all pages. Now create a new page. Click on Edit with Elementor for that page. It will now show page template which will be common for all pages. You will find the "Post Content section. Here you can add more elements for specific page.

You can use Advanced custom field for the posts. Create text field and then use that ACF text field in the template.
This is soooooo much more informative than the official tutorials!!! Thanks!
Glad you think so!

@@ParamFreelance It worked - just as you indicated! Thank you.
Glad to know it worked!
can you tell how did the header came here did you import it over the single page tab in elementor
header is applied to the entire website. watch video on how to create header ua-cam.com/video/3NExYPjRTEQ/v-deo.html
Is this still working?
The moment I edited the page on elementor. The template breaks
It definitely works. I have it on many websites. Make sure that all plugins are updated. Disable any firewall or cache plugin and try.
Very clear and understandable explanation. Many Thanks.
