During Oichi's first stage, if you defeat all enemies before the bridge is raised, you unlock a more challenging but more rewarding version of the stage. It also introduces the "Corrosive Incense", which drops the defense stats of your character, your allies and your enemies to zero.

Seriously, "Siege of Karasu Castle" in "Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes" with its few demolition soldiers who can't jump up steep steps is a joke compared to that.

@@MasterGeek-mk5ne A better weapon may be more useful in this scenario but wether you wear the best armor or no armor, you'll still receive the same amount of damage because the Corrosive Incense nullifies armor and drops your defense to zero like Oda Nobunaga's personal item. Therefore it's better for the character to have more health than more defense during this stage or to equip the second armor because you'll receive more Basara when taking damage.
Oichi's shadow hand attacks and her Basara gain higher levels for increased strength and attack range the less health she has. More than 50% health - Lv.1 Less than 50% non critical health - Lv.2 Critical health - Lv.3 If you equip Oichi's personal item, the strength of her shadow hands and Basara is increased by 50%.
Yeah, Oichi's credits theme is sung by her voice actor if I remember right. Also something that is kinda interesting: She is the only female fighter in Sengoku Basara X. (A Ark System Works fighting game. I heard it's kinda broken) Fun fact: The intro for the original Sengoku Basara 2 on the PS2 used a different song. The Wii/HD ports replaced it with the song used in Heroes's intro.
also iirc,in the HD ports the opening theme in Basara 2 is different from Basara 2 Heroes.Only in the wii version those game has the same opening theme.
I wish this game was in English (Why is it the 3rd game is the only one that got localized???) so I could understand what the hell they are saying. I mean its one thing seeing what's going on, but not understanding them makes it hard to figure out at some points.
Definitely I never liked SW Oichi that much especially when they overdid her love for nagamasa in sw2 in this game her tragic character is actually well done and I love it now I don’t understand most of the things happening cause I don’t speak nor read Japanese but just looking at the scenes with context clues I’m able to mostly figure her story out
If u have a high spec phone such as xiaomi mi 10t (like mine) it's possible with dolphin emulator, but u gotta find the iso files first so u could play it

yeah,it's kinda broken and unbalanced.But still a fun game nonetheless.
