Did you try any of the variants designed to shorten You're Bluffing? You can auction two animal cards at a time, and you can start the game with a small set of animal cards.
This is what I immediately wanted to write. Cuts the time and makes the auctions so much better. Still not my kind of bluffing game. Personally prefer spicy. This is crazy popular in germany. You will be able to find this game in 99% of german family households.
