@@ranarajputana8021 See Bro As we know that convex mirror is a diverging mirror so the light Ray which falls on the reflecting surface of convex mirror get diverged and will not meet together that’s why we stretch the light rays backward means behind the mirror so that the light rays can meet.... Focus is formed behind the mirror because when light rays which are parallel will pass through focus and the light rays will diverg and we will not get the focus from the original light rays to get the focus we will stretch the light ray backward so as to get the focus of the mirror.. 1)
a)Convex(because the image formed in the shop security mirror is diminished)
b)Concave (because the image formed in the solar furnace is magnified)
c) Concave (because the image formed in the mirror by dentists is magnified)
2)We know that focul=radius/2.
So if focal length is 10 cm the radius of curvature will be focal x 2.
So 10 x2 will be 20 cm.And that’s the answer.
3)Plane mirror is a flat surface which reflects light .Also the body will be of the same height and erect.
Concave mirror is curved surface which reflects light. The image will be magnified and inverted.
Convex mirror is a surface which reflects light and is curved outwards. The image is diminished.
Hope this helps.

3.flat mirror gives same height,
Concave mirror gives magnified image when very closely and inverted image from distance,
Convex mirror gives diminished image
a ) shop security mirror is a convex mirror as it provide greater view of the surroundings. b) for a solar furnace a concave mirror is used as it is a converging lens and converges the sun's rays to a particular point. A lot of heat is provided to that particular point where the food is cooked. c) dentists use a concave mirror as it is a converging mirror and creates a magnified image thus helping the dentist to properly see the teeth.

convex mirror - if an object is held in front of it, the image appears to be diminished.

As we know that convex mirror is a diverging mirror so the light Ray which falls on the reflecting surface of convex mirror get diverged and will not meet together that’s why we stretch the light rays backward means behind the mirror so that the light rays can meet....
Focus is formed behind the mirror because when light rays which are parallel will pass through focus and the light rays will diverg and we will not get the focus from the original light rays to get the focus we will stretch the light ray backward so as to get the focus of the mirror..
Same case is for Centre of Curvature
