    Q1
    (a) convex
    (b) concave
    (c) concave
    Q2
    given,
    f=10cm
    R = 2f
    = 2 x 10
    = 20cm
    Radius R = 20 cm.
    Q3
    Without touching the mirror, we still can identify the type of that mirror. We can identify them just by merely standing in front of it. If the image is of same height and upright it might be a plane mirror. If the image is inverted and when moved closer the image is highly magnified, it is a concave mirror. If the image formed is diminished, it is a convex mirror. We can also identify them by looking at the mirror whether it is flat, bulged or curved inwards.

    a) Convex mirror
    b) Convave mirror
    c) Concave mirror (?)
    Q2 ) f = r/2 therefore r = f×2 and the r= 10× 2 = 20 cm.
    Q3) A plane mirror is a flat surface which reflects the image clearly.
    A Concave mirror is an inverted image of original object and also it is a magnified image.
    A Convex mirror is a mirror in which basically we can se many things fitted in the image obtained or objects get divereged into the mirror.. thanks alott for such a good explaination it made the chapter so easy to understand...👍👍

    c)concave mirror
    Q.2 Given: f-10cm
    f=R/2
    10=R/2
    10×2=R
    R=20cm
    Q.3 plane mirror: plane mirror has a flat surface and parallel beam of light will reflect in parallel.
    Concave mirror: Concave mirror is a spherical surface and reflection will be converge.
    Convex mirror: Convex mirror is also a spherical surface the reflection will be diverge.

    Q1
    A. Convex
    B. Concave
    C. Convex
    Q2
    Radius of curvature is 20cm because the focal length is equal to half of the radius of curvature
    Q3
    In the plane mirror the size of the image on mirror is equal to size of the object
    In the concave mirror the size of the image is greater than size of the image
    In the convex mirror the the size of the image is smaller than the size of the object
    So we find the type of mirror without touching him

    (c) concave

    f = R/2
    f × 2 =R

    We can distinguish b/w them by standing in front of the mirrors or placing an object in front of then so that we distinguish b/w them by the images formed on the mirrors.

    The Top Three Questions:
    1.a) Convex Mirror
    1.b)
    1.c) Concave Mirror
    2) The radius of curvature will be the double of the focal length i.e. 10x2 cm = 20 cm.
    3) We can distinguish between a plane mirror, concave mirror and convex mirror by looking into each of them. The plane mirror will give us an image of the same height, while the concave mirror will give an inverted image and when looked closer, it will become straight and magnified. In the convex mirror, the image will be shorter and diminished, no matter the distance between the object and the mirror.
    (Sir, I have a doubt in the 1st question, number 'b' as I don't know the type of mirror used in a solar furnace and its purpose. This is my one and only doubt. Other than this, I have no doubt or problems and my concept is clear.)

If you look into a concave mirror, you can see an enlarged image when placed close and can see an inverted image when kept away. A convex mirror always forms a small and erect image.

    Answers below-
    1)
    a)Convex(because the image formed in the shop security mirror is diminished)
    b)Concave (because the image formed in the solar furnace is magnified)
    c) Concave (because the image formed in the mirror by dentists is magnified)
    2)We know that focul=radius/2.
    So if focal length is 10 cm the radius of curvature will be focal x 2.
    So 10 x2 will be 20 cm.And that’s the answer.
    3)Plane mirror is a flat surface which reflects light .Also the body will be of the same height and erect.
    Concave mirror is curved surface which reflects light.The image will be magnified and inverted.
    Convex mirror is a surface which reflects light and is curved outwards.The image is diminished.
    Hope this helps.

A lot of heat is provided to that particular point where the food is cooked. c) dentists use a concave mirror as it is a converging mirror and creates a magnified image thus helping the dentist to properly see the teeth.

    First question = a.) Convex mirror
    b.)i am not sure but concave mirror
    c.) Convex mirror
    Second question = given focal length = 10cm so since radius =f/2 to gind f use f=radius×2. f=10cm×2=20cm
    Third question= plane mirrors show us the same hight like the real object and the image is upright
    Concave mirrors they can show as inverted and magnified images when we get close it gets magnified and when we get far from it it gets inverted
    Convet mirrors they cover larger area for as to see and the rays are demnished
    Thanks sir now i have an improved understanding about mirrors correct me if i am mistaken in my answers 🖒 Thanks

    Answer 1.
    1) first one is plane mirror
    2) Second is conves mirror
    3) Third is concave mirror
    Answer 2.)
    Its radius is 20cm
    Answer 3.)
    a) if we stand in front of plane mirror we appare same as we stand .
    b) if we stand in front of concave mirror it will focus our image and we appere more close .
    c) if we stand in front of a convex mirror it will cover whole area around us as it we will look shorter in the mirror.

    1-a convex.
    b concave.
    c concave.
    2- Focal length - Radius/2
    So, Radius - focal length .2
    10 multiply by 2
    So 20 cm.
    3- plane mirror is flat.
    Concave mirror is curved inwards and has shiny surface.
    Convex mirror is curved outwards.

    MY ANSWERS
    1)
    a)Convex
    b)Concave
    c)Concave
    2)
    The focal length of a mirror is R/2 therefore Radius of curvature will be F*2 = 10cm*2 = 20cm
    3)
    A plane mirror does not converge or diverge the beam of light. The distance between the object and the mirror.
    In a concave mirror, we appear inverted and diminished when kept far away from us and when kept near to the object it appears magnified and erect.
    In a convex mirror, far away objects appear to be near.
    I hope all my answers are correct.

    3 ans If you look into a plane mirror, you can find that the size of the image is same as that of the object.
    If you look into a concave mirror, you can see an enlarged image when placed close and can see an inverted image when kept away.
    A convex mirror always forms a small and erect image.

    Q1. (a)convex mirror
    (b)concave mirror
    (c)concave mirror
    Q2. As we know that focal length is the half of radius and radius is double of focal length so radius is equal to double of focus
    Radius= 2*focal length
    R=2*10cm =20cm
    So the radius is 20cm
    1
    Q3.By standing in front of all the three
    •If the image is exactly equal to person or the substance.
    •If we go close to a concave mirror it becomes mangnified and if the distance is increased then it forms magnified and virtual image.
    •It will always form virtual image ,it will form an upright image if you are near the focus..

    Question no 1:
    a)convex mirror
    b)?
    c)concave mirror
    question no 2:
    ANS: radius of curvature = 2focal length. so, radius = 2×10=20
    question no 3:
    PLANE MIRROR: The size of image is same as the object , image is virtual ,image is laterally inverted.
    CONCAVE MIRROR: The image is inverted , and when we bring the mirror closer the image gets magnified.
    CONVEX MIRROR: The image is formed on the bulging side of the spherical mirror and the image is small.
