It depends on the source material and headphones, but with good quality recordings and high quality headphones, it is extremely difficult to stop listening. The sound is super smooth without any harshness.

Hello Yuri! I have been enjoying my dx320 for couple of months now, but I am really temped to upgrade to dx320 max. Is the price justified to uprade? Is the difference noticable in terms of soundstage? Thanks

In summary, the main differences that affect sound quality are as follows:
The DX320MAX utilizes 4pcs BD34301 DAC chips, whereas the DX320 utilizes 2pcs BD34301.
The DX320MAX employs a 16.8V battery pack to power the AMP section, eliminating the need for voltage boost, thus providing the best power supply. In contrast, the DX320 uses a voltage boost.
The DX320MAX outperforms in both the DAC and AMP sections. The sound is cleaner and fuller, with a larger and more three-dimensional soundstage.
