At least I love how this trailer makes it clear how Lucas is more of the main love interest. Ik that it was a love triangle, but throughout and especially in the last chapters it was so obvious she was more interested in Lucas.
Agreed in the novel and even the manga she shows greater trust in Lucas. If you think about it he is her main confidant as he is the only one she has no need to lie or put on a mask for, unlike everyone else in her life who sees her as a sweet girl or a competent princess or a cute little child he sees her as she is without the pretense. Notice that it is only towards him that she is so sassy or so dramatic or so rude, she remains kind and polite with the dignity of a princess towards everyone else while towards the adults in her life (her father, nanny and knight) she remains the whiny cute little girl they are familiar with.
I read the manga than they were younger and the emperor had a other Girl aswell as his daughter rejecting tje fl a fake one she and Lucas were friendly with each other since childhood he sure likes her

@@beingofculturebut that's something that will probably never happen cuz it costs a lot of money and they can afford it because of their large audience while shoujo anime/donghua has a limited audience. Shonen anime has a much larger audience mainly due to their story line and other things but also cuz some people only watch shonen and don't give other genres a try cuz they think they have a taste when they don't. I have seen people make fun of chihayafuru without even watching it thinking they know anything about it when I think it's one of the best sports anime, at least for me.
I’m so excited to see the manhwa adaptions of this! You rarely see manhwa/manhua getting animated so this will definitely be a big hype. Also for the people who don’t know the difference between anime and donghua, donghua is Chinese animation. I think that the drawings in the manhwa a lot better than in the anime,and in trailer she looks like typical princess but in the manhwa she is pictured a lot stronger.

Edit: ok so I came back here to watch a few more times and I realized that her eyes does has the jewel texture in her eyes if you look or focus enough. It's just not as noticeable as the manhwa. Also the color of her eyes are a bit darker than the one in the original. Don't believe me? Watch it in 1080p or 720p and you'll see what I mean.
This is very beautiful. Love how flowy the animation is, and all the effects, they look magical. Love how the art style and eyes' angles also similar to the manhwa. Of course, manhwa artist can put more to polish the static art especially the hair etc, but i really like the flowy animation and beautiful effects. Although i don't understand chinese, the voices also are nice

Bc of how society (America specifically) has portrayed China, if something is “made in China” it’s often deemed to be worse than or low quality compared to things made in Japan or Korea. The characters look a little off. About Claude and Ati i understand that the eyes aren't the same as in the original web,( like their too ordinary?...Topaz blue eyes were a feature of the imperial family in the original. Where did it go? As in the anime, this fact will be explained. I would understand if they left on the fact that members of the imperial family would have bright blue eyes, while other owners of blue eyes would have less bright and more gray, but Lily has absolutely the same color eyes as Ati in the anime. Therefore, they will not be able to leave on such an explanation.), but with the others... I just don't understand what's wrong. I don't exactly like Atis voice, it's a little too high pitched from what i thought it would be, but that's my personal opinion. That could be ignored and maybe the new voice will eventually grow onto me. Who knows? It's not much of an issue for me.

I love this and can't wait for release, but why did they change Lucas' appearance for that balcony scene so drastically? He appeared as a teenager in that scene in the Manwha, so I'm a little confused but otherwise perfect animation. A shame that they can't do their jewelled eyes, I can't remember the reason exactly but I think it was that they tried but the animation was too heavy or something and they weren't able to realistically have them for animation cost reasons. That's fine, though, cause they did their best and got as close as they could, which can be seen in the closeup of Athy's eyes at 1:21 . I'm sure they will spend a sh*t-ton of money on the ending with her coronation, especially with how beautiful that scene was in the Manwha.

Actually spoon was about to make athy and Lucas the couple coz this is what 90% of the fans want she even was about to write a side story about them with a daughter and asked what would be the perfect eyes color for her but suddenly something comes up she become tired coz she was also writing the other manhwa (into the light) and decided to just ending who made me a princess and focus more on her 2 webtoon a lot of the fans like me get angry then she said that one day she will make the side story... And I hope that they make them couple in the anime or it will be 2 heartbreak for us the fan of Lucas athy 😢

作画綺麗なんだけど、思ったのとなんか違うなぁ、日本でアニメ作って欲しいかった(´；ω；｀)

I love this and can't wait for release, but why did they change Lucas' appearance for that balcony scene so drastically? He appeared as a teenager in that scene in the Manwha, so I'm a little confused but otherwise perfect animation. A shame that they can't do their jewelled eyes, I can't remember the reason exactly but I think it was that they tried but the animation was too heavy or something and they weren't able to realistically have them for animation cost reasons. That's fine, though, cause they did their best and got as close as they could, which can be seen in the closeup of Athy's eyes at 1:21 . I'm sure they will spend a sh*t-ton of money on the ending with her coronation, especially with how beautiful that scene was in the Manwha.

She stays with the 'people who love her', in the ending they show a scene with a book stating that she ascended to the throne and in the drawing there was no husband beside her so its safe to assume she didnt pick lucas or ijekiel. The last scene actually showing her face was her on a carriage with her father.

Actually spoon was about to make athy and Lucas the couple coz this is what 90% of the fans want she even was about to write a side story about them with a daughter and asked what would be the perfect eyes color for her but suddenly something comes up she become tired coz she was also writing the other manhwa (into the light) and decided to just ending who made me a princess and focus more on her 2 webtoon a lot of the fans like me get angry then she said that one day she will make the side story... And I hope that they make them couple in the anime or it will be 2 heartbreak for us the fan of Lucas athy 😢

Okay so i rewatched this and i have to say i like the manhwa more i don't know its okay but the jewel eyes are missing and lucas looks okay but he is missing something like a charm that he had in the manhwa the anime is okay its self but i wish they would add the missing details and everthing
