I really like Theo Walcott as a pundit. A breath of fresh air compared to other former players.
he was always well spoken and intelligent as a player too
Talking about the lower league teams taking points off us last year… yeah you scored against us for Southampton! Cheers Theo!
The manbun is distracting ngl
he literally looks like he has fresh, decent smelling breath, unlike Chris Sutton or Gary Neville who always seem like they're talking with a breath smelling of onions and smoked mackrel
Walcott was really underrated. His G and A kept us in the top 4 for years.
Declan Rice helps a lot. The guy has unlimited stamina and cuts out alot of stuff plus Saliba and Gabriel
Walcott speaks very well from his recent appearances.
Why are you surprised?
@@menelikkwhite2087 what made you think hes surprised
@@philip8063 why would you say somebody speaks well, it’s like you expect him to not be articulate.
@@menelikkwhite2087 probably becuase its his first year in punditry, so giving his initial thoughts of a new pundit is pretty normal
@@menelikkwhite2087 ignore him smcgar. some people just want a fight where there isn't one because they are sad sad people.
If this team was 8 points ahead this year, there will be no way to catch them. This team learnt a lot and may I say Gabriel is the best defender in the league and Ben White the most underrated.
Not scoring 1 goal in 2 games where we should have is what cost us the season last year, so with being this tight we can't afford draws against *anyone* , we need our attack to be ruthless now
Only Van dijk and Saliba are better than him
@@Frostyboi300Gabriel has been the best defender in the league. The most consistent all season.
@@blackkid128we need to see the statistics. Headed clearance, tackles, passes.
They should have been at least 10 to 15 points ahead ....all those winnable dropped points will cost us the title
Even if we don't end up winning the title Arsenal are clearly heading in the right direction under Arteta and any suggestion he's not the right man for us as of right now is nonsense. All the mistakes and weaknesses we showed this time last year have clearly been addressed and the team look so much more focused, confident and approach games in such a professional way now. We've gone from smashing teams 5/6-0 to being more reserved and patient in games where needed and getting the job done. Even signings like Havertz which really had me questioning whether Arteta had lost the plot a little suddenly makes more and more sense and you can't deny he's played his part in helping us mount a serious challenge. Exciting times to be an Arsenal fan and it's been a long while since we've been able to say that honestly.
The moment Alan Smith talked, i suddenly remembered FIFA 2014
I feel like arsenal have learnt from last season and they’ve only gotten better - they couldn’t even hit a barn door at Christmas time and ever since that mid season break they’ve been scoring for fun
First half of the season was spent bedding in that new midfield
We didn’t waste energy and go full pelt, you can’t sustain a title race at 100% all the time, this season they just eased into gear at the right time now they just sprint for the last 7 games
Every opponent should be treated with the utmost respect regardless of who they are.
To become champions you have to beat all who come before you.
Give of your best: no more can be asked of you.
Stay humble.
Stay together.
Back the team 100%
🤜🏾🤛🏾💯😁
Lots of UK clubs need more fans like you
Theo is a great pundit
Love that final comment from Walcott "don't ask me the score" brings back good memories of his shithousery 😂
Conceded 4 goals in the PL since January 1st. The seagulls were captured then cooked. Harry Kane and Bayern Munich will be the next to receive a beating. Arsenal are doing great!
I worry if Bayern are out the German title race they save their fire for Arsenal in the champions league quarter final
I hope Arsenal stays in the Champions League as it will tire them out. They need to experience the added pressures of playing in the PL and the CL simultaneously. This is what LFC and MCFC have had to deal with for the last 7/8 years.
Bayern are a different proposition and have the capability to open up Arsenal with a front-line that is ridiculously quick and technical and which also boasts one of Arsenal's arch-nemesis in the form of Kane...I don't think it's going to be as plain sailing as many Arsenal fans are making out. Don't forget, Bayern have absolutely torn Arsenal to shreds in the Champions League on multiple occasions - it might be a different Arsenal team this year but Bayern being out of the running for all German domestic honours will be looking at the Champions League now and going all-out to take that home this year. With Kane up front, and if he hits the sort of form he did for Spurs in their matches against Arsenal in the past, he could unleash Hell on Arsenal's defence and it won't be as simple as just marking Kane out of the game because he can find a pass or half-yard to score from anywhere in the oppositions half, even in his own half if he has to! It'll be a very intriguing game but I have a feeling Arsenal might not want to count their chickens until they've hatched in this particular instance...
@@CarbonitePlaysa different proposition? They look absolutely terrible this season and a group full of sulky unmotivated disorganised lost group of players. I watched their loss 3-2 to heideheim today and last weekend where Dortmund took them to school at the Allianz. Needless to say to yes arsenal are a different team from 10 years ago and Kane won’t be playing against Rob holding or hector bellerin no more. Bayern Munich are the weakest where Arsenal are strongest, in the 8 positions and their whole defence is average
Remember they got beat by a average Porto team
I said before the season started that this season could well be decided on goal difference, I didn't know at the time that we would be the one's that would end up best placed to do that, and I think we'll win it that way.
Why is Lewis Hamilton providing football punditry?
🤣🤣🤣
HE IS AN ARSENAL FAN
Look at their goal difference. People are mad to put them third.
Let them keep doubting, they'll be surprised
Looking at the fixtures list around the 3 minute mark, Arsenal has 3 red dots, 3 yellow and a Green (got rid of a yellow today. The exactly the same as Liverpool. I still dot get why Arsenal are so under rated. Brighton is a tough tough away game and I have been listening to these pundits over the past few weeks and they had Arsenal dropping points today.
Yes it is tight and yes anyone can win it but the disrespect Arsenal gets is staggering.
We have the highest number of goals, least conceded, won against city (twice), Haven't lost to anyone in the top 6, most points off the 1 on 1's in the top 3, Favourites against Bayern, 3rd Favourite to win the UCL, almost fully fit squad... why was Arsenal 18%? yes its gone higher today but honestly looking at City, I dont see them dropping ANY points.
For me its going to be City again (Breaks my heart) followed by Arsenal.
Btw, plz dont mention that we couldn't win last year. We also didn't get the top 4 year before that when Partey got injured. Its all about squad depth. For the 1st time in many years, Arsenal have a decent squad!
Imagine Arsenal with a Class striker next season!!!
Don't listen to any pundits and examine the facts for yourself. Yes, we've scored the most, conceded the least, have the best form, a full squad to choose from, got 4 points off both liverpool and city. This tells me we're the best team at the moment but im not an expert like these tv pundits😂
....and yet 3pts worse off than last season?? They are not under rated but I think we all expect Arsenal to have a little wobble (based on recent history) but in fairness they are showing no signs that they are going too. 90pts wins the league....looking at the remaining fixtures I don't see Arsenal reaching that...88 or 89 at best
Tbf they gave away a 5 point lead last season after playing so strong.
Gone are the days where the Arsenal fans blame injuries for their performance
@@airezen2945 And gave away top 4 with an easier run-in the year before that.
that's exactly my point.
I dont see that happening this season. Arsenal has strengthen brilliantly in all positions and now has a decent squad.
This will go down to the wire.
IMO its City 34% and Arsenal and Liverpool 33% each
If Man Utd takes points off, both Liverpool and Arsenal giving City the title, it would be hilarious to watch Goldbridges' reaction
Admittedly, Arsenal are looking very strong.

I’m surprised that Man City have a higher chance of winning than Arsenal because Arsenal haven’t lost to Man City this season and have more points than Man City
Because Man City have the easiest run in.
@@MM-ev1fgon paper football is played on the pitch
@snipedotgenius agreed, but we do have the hardest run in, still have to play villa, spurs, united and Chelsea. Not all at their best but that usually means very little in the prem
@@snipedotgenius Correct but there's still odds on certain things happening.
A lot of you may not see what I do as I have experience I’ve been here before hard games so called are the better ones to play more concentrated no time for mistakes it’s the so called easier games that worry me but with that said once the team gels and starts to see the finishing line they turn into animals and get the job done all the so called hard games become a walk in the park remember I said this bless bro ..
Walcott so well spoken. Well done to him as he only retired not long ago.
This team is unbelievable ❤
Theo Walcott is a quality pundit!
Everyone on this panel is a really good pundit. Look forward to seeing them more
We're so strong at the back, only 4 conceded this year, so yes, it is very difficult to see how anyone is going to score against us. But we do have to face Watkins, Son, Maddison, Højlund, Garnacho, Fernandes, Palmer, etc, all players that are expected to score goals, so maybe one or two will sneak in, but at the other end we could still be knocking in 3 or 4 ourselves against those teams.
I wouldn't be so much worried about injuries as much as I am worried about yellow cards... Saliba and White must be careful not to upset the ref on the next match.
At this stage of the season there is amnesty and players must get 10 bookings to be suspended so it should be fine
They’ve barely had bookings
United will be fired up tomorrow: first for the way they lost to Chelsea. Secondly to gain points for CL and thirdly to stop Liverpool which will help Arsenal or even City.
I love how people say that Liverpool have lots of experience in title races but all I see is their experience on coning second behind City...
Where’s arsenals experience then, well other than being bottlers.

That's true but we are in it. Tomorrow it is in Liverpool's hands and so it will continue.
Not saying they should win it, but Gabriel and Saliba should be in the Top 15 for Ballon Dor.
Filthy. I genuinely believe they’ll concede under 5 in their remaining games.
If that happens arsenal win the league
I think last year arteta knew we were punching above our weight. Our squad was in no way ready to challenge however our starting 11 was. So it felt like a go out there and have fun and play the way ur playing.
In Arteta WE TRUST ❤
What a difference Alan Smith and Theo are compared to the whinging Man Utd and some Liverpool former players as pundits.
14 games in 2024 (all comps) with only 5 goals conceded & two of those came against Liverpool in the FA cup. Haven't conceded more than one goal in a league game since the 4-3 against Luton on December 4th. Rock freaking solid.
0:59 oh Karen… apart from Brentford 2 games ago and Newcastle the game before that.
She can't see how anyone's going to score against them and then says she's worried about the away games. What's she worried about if teams can't score against them?
If they were perhaps a little further ahead than they are, then I'd be more confident of their chances. Unfortunately, City certainly have the easier run in. The away match to Spurs aside, you'd say all the other games are fairly straightforward for a team so used to being in this position. That leaves Liverpool, whose own fixtures aren't any easier than Arsenal's. Spurs, West Ham and Villa all in a row, potentially amongst the Europa League games, might give Arsenal their chance, IF they're not too distracted by the CL. Goal difference count be key as well. Arsenal look pretty formidable though, I can't deny it.
Walcott could have a career in fashion. Dude looks great on camera.
On paper City have the easiest fixtures but they are still 1 point behind Arsenal and behind on goal difference.
Tottenham, West Ham, Brighton are not easy games for City; heck on their given day Luton, Forest, Wolves and Fulham can beat them.
No one is favourites.
Arsenal may have hard fixtures but the way the fixtures panning out home and away the next, it seems there is a nice consistency and rythm that can be achieved.
Yes Arsenal are in the champions league but the fixtures are falling into place if Arsenal get a good result against Bayern it will continue the momentum and feel good factor. If they make the semi finals it will be on 30th April with only 3 premier league games against Bournemouth, Man Utd, and Everton on last day (who look like going to safe by than).
Liverpool are not in the champions league but have 5 away fixture including Man Utd, Villa as well as hard fixtures like Spurs and villa at the end.
City have easy fixtures but Real Madrid will take a lot out of them and with FA Cup semi have a bit of a fixtures congestion pile up.
Out of all 3 teams I cannot see with Arsenal the way their defence is and on there day their attack and best goal difference as well as the way the fixture are nicely spread out home and away why their percentage is so low. Anyway who cares take 1 game at a time and let the football do the talking, come end of April we will have a good idea who can do it.
All comes down to the Champions league semis if City and Arsenal get through will one go for it and leave the league open for the other.
I don’t think so, city have shown levels, look at last season for example, if Liverpool fail to win tomorrow it’s then in city’s hands looking at the remaining fixtures of all three teams. Then again I change my mind every week so who knows. That’s why it’s the best league in the world 🤷♂️
@@liambentley9482 prem is City's to lose imo. Liverpool have Utd, Everton spurs and avilla to play and no way are we not dropping points somewhere.

Arsenal have 4 home games left, City 3, Liverpool 2. On current form they might just win all their remaining fixtures.... All three are still competing in Europe so they'll all be equally effected as they're all likely to get to final 4 in champions/Europa league.
With all due respect, facing Atalanta over 2 legs is not the same as Arsenal and Manchester City facing Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
Europe clearly does not affect the teams equally.
@@blackkid128 Thursday nights, having to play Sunday and chase the teams that have gone before makes it pretty difficult. Whilst the level of opposition is not the same, there's still travel and additional 90 minute games to contest.

It’s not that easy. I wish we could but Liverpool have it in their hands. I can’t see them throwing it away. Liverpool are a force.
@@slowtalker8583I know but our front 3 just aren’t clinical enough. I like Salah but he misses so many chances these days and Diaz isn’t bathe best at shooting and Nunez is just chaos. Unlike Liverpool and Man City who can go and win or not lose all their remaining fixtures, Arsenal do have some tricky fixtures they may beat Spurs but beating Man UTD home and away??
If there's a Team that can cause an upset it's Man UTD, it will be incredible cause Man UTD actually prefer Arsenal to win the League so beating them may be handing the Title to Liverpool or City who they really don't want to Win the League.
