In this reaction video, Money Moicano rates Cory Sandhagen's breakdown of Marlon Vera vs Sean O'Malley on UFC 299. Yet Cory manhandled Chito for 5 rounds and then instead of getting a title shot or a fight with Merab for a title fight, Chito gets a title shot just because the UFC wanted the rematch 😅 I can see why Cory is annoyed. I’d listen to Chito about OMally greasing his hair but he did nothing where that would matter like a guillotine or a Thai clinch

So the best don’t always fight the best. Boxing does stuff for money, you don’t want MMA becoming the same. Sandhagen and Merab were the rightful people, Vera coming off a loss isn’t very impressive

Except this piñata had his entire face fractured in multiple places.
Chito survived, kudos for that. But his face is absolutely broken. And he kept getting hit there.

More awesome content my brother. You and you're editor killing it as usual. Only suggestion would be to please not include sudden loud effects like the bomb explosion. You're content is almost all talking so I usually have it turned up and that kind of stuff is pretty annoying.
I know people have been discrediting chito after this but going into this everyone held that loss over Sean's head and people still had a feeling chito could beat Sean, or Sean would be super boring. YET Sean went out there and put on a 5 round masterclass. Proving his cardio and levels to his skills and fight IQ. I've never seen Chito THAT hurt before and even tho Cory beat chito, it's crazy how Sean was able to damage chito that bad. He has very effective offensive aggression. Most people with feints and his abilities don't fight like Sean. Others need there opponent to come to them in order to maybe counter them but Sean's proven he is Effective fighting in pretty much every direction, either stance, crazy timing juking output which makes his feints work more because he actually attacks mixed with-in them. It's awesome to watch
It's MMA so anything can happen but I truly see so much evolution in O'malley's skills. Every opponent has gone against Sean with the goal of taking him down. Look how he beat Thomas Almada. In a lot of his fights he's shown potential of what he's capable of and I really think he can cement himself in batamweight history. Ilia's acting all arrogant like he runs the UFC with no title defenses so Ilia should focus on defending his belt. The Merab & Cory fights would be epic for his 135 fight list.

I'm not a Corey fan at all, but he's 100% correct. Chito looks like a street walker these days and yes Chito is a low output fighter even when he wins allot of times they are fights he's down in. I think Chito did better than Cory says because Sean is pretty beat up after the fight.

I think where Chito made his mistake is his style of fighting - his way of waiting to make reads and then capitalizing in the later rounds. You saw how there were elements of danger for Sean when Chito pressured him towards the end of the fight.. Chito needed to pressure O'Malley early on, not wait until the end of the fight to start trying to rush him. Which if you think about it, if you have this iron chin and can't be knocked out, why wait? He was supposed to fight aggressively early on, make the fight ugly, pressure him the way Chandler comes out swinging for the fences, if you can take shots like the ones he took for 5 rounds why wait??? Go for the win early... he had nothing to lose. I think Chito needs a new team of coaches.
I’ve always quite liked Vera as a person but I’ve never rated him as a fighter. Realistically his win over Sean is legit of course. Having said that, the only way that he ever beats Sean is something like that happening

Sean has the best feints in the UFC, they have always been very good, but now they are near perfect, he used to do a tiny head flick sideways when feinting or faking, but not when he actually commits to a strike, this was a bit of a tell between his feints and real attacks.

Sandhagen is one of the most obvious examples of the UFC mistreating fighters. He beat Chito's ass and then gets frog jumped by him, the whole thing was absurd. Especially since the matchup between Cory and Sean is one of the best possible fights that can happen in the entire sport. The UFC matchmakers are assholes, announcing fights before contracts are signed and skipping the better talent because of social media responses. The UFC built up the momentum of the sport, but now they are holding it back from ever becoming a professional sport instead of an entertainment company.
We all knew why O'Malley chose Chito to beat up.
