    He makes a great point against individualists but at the same time, social anarchism proposes a hierarchy or authority of the collective over the individual

      Not a hierarchy where the collective rule the individual but where through free association, the collective on a per individual level mutually cooperate. Mutual aid and direct democracy for the society as a whole. Where as in a majority of the population has a voice in issues pertaining to themselves aside from obvious civil rights. There’s different forms of social anarchism but bookchins libertarian municipalism and social ecology is not the same as social anarchism. Like bookchin says municipalism more resembles historical town halls or meetings, closer to the direct democracy in Athenian democracy. Though obviously I mean the comparison with its implementation of direct democracy rather than representative democracy not Athenian democracy’s restrictive aspects.
