I like the fact that you talked about tipping someone. As i have said previously, the potential you will come to realize will be on a level of its own. I live in Africa and it has been quite some work actually getting the tools I work with. One thing i know though, i have learnt by watching and listening to your story. I can feel your steps almost every time you tell a story. Thanks Man.

Thanks for the encouragement Jamhuri. That's crazy to hear that even getting tools can be challenging in some places. I have a couple small tools that I have made myself. I'll definitely have to share a video about those in the future.

@@WertherLeatherGoods true, simple ones like my wooden burnisher and a stitching pony I have managed to make myself. The rest like the sticking chisel I had to buy online and wait a full month to get. Talk of even thread. I have been trying all my time to see if I can get a shop which at least sells 0.8mm nylon yarn in vain. People are not so into crafts these sides so one thinks, why sell stuff which can't make money?

Brea is one of my favorites! For a small package it holds a lot 👍🏻

I have this wallet and have been packing it around for close to 5 years.. I love it but over time the pull on the zipper broke. not a big deal. but I live in the Philippines and we pack more cash then I normally would in the usa. I'd love this same wallet just a bit bigger.

Ah man, I’m sorry to hear about the zipper pull tab. I know it is trickier to get it back to me with you living in the Philippines, but if you want to mail it back to me, I can add a new zipper pull and mail it back to you. There wouldn’t be any charge for the repair. As far as a larger Brea, I can create a taller version for you. I charge an additional $20 for the customization. If you would like to shoot me an email with your leather and thread color preferences and your mailing address, I can forward you an invoice.

@@WertherLeatherGoods I am visting the USA in the end of March for 3 weeks. I might just send it to you for a repair.. its a great wallet and Id love to keep using it. but I also will have you make me one 1/2 - 3/4 inch bigger the exact same wallet

@@Hapfletcher That all sounds great. It just takes me a few minutes to repair the zipper, so making it work within your time range shouldn't be an issue.

I like this wallet, I want more quality to replace my zipper wallet (made with fabric and very small and weak zipper).

Can you make this same design but with magnets? Kinda like the Reform wallet?

I just took some time to look up the Reform Wallet. It looks like a cool design. I haven’t incorporated any magnets into my designs. The magnets themselves add a lot of bulk, and they also require me to add additional layers of leather to encapsulate them-which adds even more bulk. I don’t have any plans to add magnets to my designs.

Do you make any half zipped wallets with a small key ring? I’ve been looking everywhere and can’t seem to find any. I like attaching my wallet to a lanyard so I don’t lose track of them

I don’t have a specific design that includes a key ring, but I’d be happy to add a small leather loop and key ring to one of my zip wallets for you. I’d charge an extra $20 for the customization. Shoot me an email to derek@waskerd.com and we can figure out the details together.
