How do you open the green locking clip at the back to release the car seatbelt? Is it just a case of using force? I’m scared of snapping it!

@@BecomingAutism they said its 22kg actually

@@bearsy2826 Joie said that? Every website, Joie manual etc and on the seat itself says rear facing mode is up to 18kg, and '18kg maximum harness weight' so I'm confused

This video is useless. My chair is forward facing but she still needs the harness. Why skip this stage.

Because this seat can't be used forward facing with the harness, like the previous non 129 model could - absolutely useless, I wasn't told this when i purchased and i can't return the seat

Its very frustrating. They let me return my seat and I bought an isofix joie seat instead although I still cant use a harness with that one because she is too heavy it seems for the harness

Why not just rear face them? It's the safest option.

@@gallan671their official reasoning is that backwards is safer, so you should use backwards facing as long as possible. it's still very frustrating.

Why use something forward facing if it's not safe for your child? Doesn't make this a rubbish seat, just means you have misunderstood child safety.
Forward facing under 4 years old can cause internal decapitation in an accident. That's why it's better to rear face...

Rubbish seat - wish i'd never bought it.
