I remember seeing a short scene where Harry Rooker (the milkman) was being arrested for his crimes and the look on his face was haunted, as if he didn't even know what he had done and was only just being told he had done those things. Ruby Lane killed herself after 'snapping out of it' and realizing she'd killed her friends. That implies that if they weren't killed or didn't die during their run as a killer, they came back from their possessions without awareness of what happened. That must've been worse than dying.
I need to keep watching in case you mention this at the end, the guy who was harassing Hannah at the party was the same actor who played Sam’s boyfriend, Peter, in 1994.

It just meant that they wouldn't get wealth, prosperity, and power so dude could have chosen to not continue with it and he would just have to work for his stuff, but no he wanted to go through the easy way and kill people so his family can keep their power
The Killers were the Goods doing. Sarah has just been trying to get the truth out and when someone gets touched by the witch the curse tries to defend itself and the goods. Thats when all the killers start coming. There are 2 different things happning basically. One is a Shadyside person sacraficed to be the killer and take other shadesiders with them. The other is when someone gets the witches memories and the curse goes after them which is when it sends the killers after them.
The Goodes benefitted a lot with this curse because they get what they want in exchange for sacrificing someone. In Nick Goode's case, he got what he wanted and brought Ziggy back to life. If it wasn't for Nick, she would've been dead from all the stabs she got like her sister. And of course, Nick got to become sheriff so there's that.
Yeah and the entire reason for the killers not going after Ziggy after the camp is because Nick liked her and didn't wanted her to die, even if she knew about Sarah Fier and could potentially be a threat to him.

I mean if it wasn't for Nick, she wouldn't have been stabbed in the first place...That's like saying someone who threw a person who doesn't know how to swim in deep water and then rescuing them is saving their life. These movies are just so fun for me! Are they the greatest "horror" movies? No, but they do a great job of telling a story & wrapping it up with only 3 movies, staying consistent in the plot, character development, and scares/gore, and they're a great homage to RL Stine & all the cheesy classics of the 80s & 90s. Especially for Netflix Originals, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with how entertaining this trilogy is the whole way through. I love seeing others' reactions & opinions of these movies, my ranking definitely goes 2, 3, and then 1(: I didn't notice this until someone else pointed it out to me, but it's interesting that the plot revolves around the fact that only Shadysider's are the victims of the killers, and yet Peter (Sam's a-hole boyfriend) is killed by Ryan in the first movie & he's from Sunnyvale 🤔 I figured it was just a plot hole, but maybe if they're planning on continuing the story, there's more to it than that?? Later on when the killers go after Sam, they’re in Kill Sam Protect The Curse mode, thus anyone in the way gets instantly sliced, thus why Peter and the hospital staff got killed. Going after Sam and protecting the curse is a waaay higher priority than killing random Shadysiders! Plus Nick isn’t just a Sunnyvaler, he’s a GOODE, so maybe like you said that also gave him some protection :)
I don't thinks they're the greatest horror movies but I do think are my favorite of the slasher ones. Nice movie, well written, no plot wholes or things left unexplained.. I love that. I like the Halloween ones 4 example but never fully understand what's going on haha.

i loved this series but the accents in this movie drove me insane. terrible irish accents, no consistency. i think it would've been better without accents, rather than shitty ones i suppose. great movie, but difficult to hear a bunch of people butchering your accent lol
