I think they did this just like a one-time thing. At award show, they often try to bring a little more ‘special’ performance than the original. I think because at a talkshow Seung Gi joked that he’s jealous with Taecyeon for the performance, said he has been a fan of her and jokingly said that if you called me I can do the duet with you. So thats why, at this award show, they try this duet for the fans (Seung Gi was really popular at that time so I think its kinda a fan service). So dont need to take it whole-heartedly tho. Seung Gi was not an idol dancer like Taecyeon, its just normal he didnt do as good as Taecyeon. However, I think the fan’s reaction was good because she keeps inviting him to concert to do this performance again tho it was originally a one-time thing.
