Handpay Jackpot! Our Biggest Video Poker Win Ever!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 31 бер 2022
- Steve and Matt Bourie from the American Casino Guide book play Super Times Pay Super Stacks which randomly offers both multipliers and bonus hands. They are on a five-play version of Double Double Bonus, which is a volatile game, plus there's added volatility because of the multipliers and extra hands that are randomly awarded. It's a wild ride and a fun conclusion when they hit a big hand that results in a handpay jackpot!

"Oh no!" I can relate. I've gone over the taxable amount by just a couple of dollars so many times.
Finally a hand. Congrats. 🍀🍀They really need to raise the amount for a taxable. That game seems like a money sucker. I would rather play 10 play regular quarters ( still betting 50)than betting double on this game. I really enjoy your casino action better than the computer editions.
Good hit! I have to say I'm more entertained by the banter than by the cards, but both are fun!
When playing double double bonus I notice people don't hold 2 to the royal if one of them is the 10 and they hold 2 pair when one is Jack's or better, I only hold the bigger pair for a chance at quads and I always hold 2 to the royal if there's nothing better
I also see people hold like K J off suit which confuses me since you can't get the occasional lucky royal or flush
Congrats on the handpay. What a beautiful hand! Just goes to show how a single hand can turn it all around. Shout out video poker!
Congratulations 🎈 you two finally it came through!!
Thank you!! 😁
Led Zeppelin playing in the background, Physical Graffiti album from 1975, Trampled Under Foot. One of their best songs. I have been listening to Led Zeppelin for 25 years. I know their music when I hear it.
Congrats and thanks for showing us these unusual and interesting games. To me it's kind of like a hybrid of video poker and slots because of the extra hands and multiplier in the "bonus". Funny how your first reaction to winning so big is "Oh No!" because of having to deal with W2s. Ridiculous, that the limit is still $1200. Your profit after this hand was still under $900 because you had played roughly 3/4ths of your initial $500 stake. Great video! Love them, and the website but miss the book.
Way better than slots because the frequency (on average) of the multiplier is set as is the multiplier (average) amount. That way the payback percentage can be calculated and it's still much higher than any slot machine. What it does as they said is dramatically increase volatility. If you get lucky and hit the max multiplier on a good dealt hand you can get massive wins (compared to your bet amount). That's the draw. My game of vice is is Double Super Times Pay. Dealt Royal with multiplier is the Holy Grail (20x guaranteed).
Congrats guys!! That was an awesome squeeze at the end for those lady's👸
Wish they would hurry up with that legislation to increase the reporting threshold from $1,200 to $5,000
Sorry for asking, do you know how much taxes do they have to pay for that amount 1200$ or when do they have to pay it?
Thanks! We got excited as that was our first win of over $1,200 while filming. However, as I later pointed out to Matt: "all wins are taxable, no matter the amount." Therefore, for clarification, we will refer to wins over $1,200 as "hand pays" in the future. Any gambling wins should be declared on your taxes as "other income" but you can record the outcome for your whole session for the day to deduct any losses. So, obviously, we often have other losing sessions on the same day and if we won $1,200 on this session and lost $800 in another session, then the win for the day is only $400. You can read more about gambling and taxes, here - www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc419
We have a video where we interview Russell Fox, one of the nation's leading experts on gambling and taxes. Fox is the co-author of "Tax Help For Gamblers", along with Jean Scott and Marissa Chen. Look for it on Amazon. We discuss how all U.S. gamblers, including: slot machine players, table game players, sports bettors, and online casino players, are treated differently for the issuance of W2-G forms. Fox explains how gambling wins are treated by the IRS, how gambling losses can be deducted, and what kind of information is needed to provide proof of losses. When dealt two pair in double double, and one of the pairs is JJ+, can you explain the logic in keeping the two pair as opposed to just keeping the one large pair when they are both paid equally but you are limiting yourself to a FH as opposed to drawing to quads?
I like to mix it up when I play, but if you took 100k hands and did the two pair vs pair. The two pair would net you more money. Even more so in this game if they didnt get that fullhouse multiplier before the jackpot, there would be no jackpot.
Think of it like this- do you think you'll more likely hit 6 full houses (each paying 9) or 1 quad (pays 50) over time? I never cared for the quad argument, I think shooting for trips would be the more compelling reason in terms of frequent 'at least I won something' goal
I’m surprised you got even that single 4th queen, Hardrock Hollywood FL has got to have the worst odds of any casino I have ever played, terrible that you had that few multipliers ! And they don’t even give you your bonus points the same day of play, unheard of!
Back to the Future reference. I heard that before in 1985. Biff talking to George McFly.
Dad said " if you were bitchin earlier"..haha.🤣🤣🤣🤣
This was awesome! Finally a good win! You deserve it! Congratulations! 🥳🥳😎
Thanks so much Blinky!!
That was great! Right when you start to lose hope, there it is.
If I ever get two to the royal I go for it. Idc what any strat says 🤣
Congrats on the big win. Nice quad queens with multiplier.
Thanks for watching
Nice hit!
Thanks
Shaun in Wimauma Florida
Good hit on that game. Just enough to tax it, unbelievable.
Thanks! We got excited as that was our first win of over $1,200 while filming. However, as I later pointed out to Matt: "all wins are taxable, no matter the amount." Therefore, for clarification, we will refer to wins over $1,200 as "hand pays" in the future.
Uncle Sam says thank you good hit
Ultimate x is my personal favorite
We plan to play more of it in the future.
Awesome win
Awesomeness!!!! I’m so happy that you all got to refill the coffers!! 🎊🎉✅
Us too! Thanks!
What is the secret of getting good dealt hands in multiline video poker?
The cards are dealt randomly, so it's all luck. However, there is a skill in how you play your hands. Read/see more, here - www.americancasinoguidebook.com/how-to-play-video-poker.html
I swear Matt plays some of the WORST most volatile games with improper strategy, lol...I like a little volatility myself, but not to the point where the casino vacuums my money! At least in THIS case it worked out for you...
Great video! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Congrats dudes!!!
Congratulations
Irs website says all gambling income is taxable. The jackpot form just means it gets reported.
Correct
And we would never give someone advice that is contrary to IRS regulations
Love the screen taps 😂 “wake up sir” 😂😂😂😂
Sweet hit guys!
Did you just start playing VP? $1,280 isn’t very much when betting that denom on carnival games.
That's an old video from when we first started. Currently, our biggest win on one deal of video poker is $5,000.
I predict you will be doing even better. I can feel it and I know it!
What casino are you in. What state.
We are down in south florida
@@TheJackpotGents Thank you.
@@TheJackpotGents Do you travel to other states or just in Florida.
When u hit the trip As an went ohhhhh lmao
Love you guys!
Oh no, barely taxable! XD
JACKPOT GENTS= who da f?, you wrote the book how could ya lose. Am I right.>>? I DID NOT KNOW OF THIS change.........when? did it happen?
Way to go guys! Just had to threaten to leave the machine 😉
Great Win! 💙💙😎😎
Beautiful 🎉
A taxable, "oh no" 🤣🤣
IM SORRY WHERES THE BIGGEST JACKPOT? Did I missed ? Coz I did not SEE ANY BIG ONES 😂 MUST BE A JOKE LOL😅
Congrats on the taxable 👍 "Some would say that was over $1,200." 🤣
Thanks! We got excited as that was our first win of over $1,200 while filming. However, as I later pointed out to Matt: "all wins are taxable, no matter the amount." Therefore, for clarification, we will refer to wins over $1,200 as "hand pays" in the future.
All wins are "taxable". Even the 10$ ones. Why do you call the handpay as "taxable" then?
In theory, yes. Who reports it though?
You are correct. I mentioned that same thing to Matt somewhere in this video (or in a different one). He will now use the term "hand pay" because it better explains the situation.
@@themountainwanderer That is not the point. If you get away with a crime, congrats I guess - yet it is a crime, and there are laws "governing" it.
@@casinovlog 99.9% of casino patrons are criminals by your definition then.
@@themountainwanderer I'm not familiar about US criminal code about tax evasion, but like here in Europe it would be a serious crime, yes. Regardless of caught or not - the crime happened. Punished or not is another question.
Wish that I would win a little jackpot it would love
This guy needs some help. You don’t keep 2 pair in double double with no multiplier. He left a lot on table
Actually, you do keep two pair, unless one of the pair is aces. Then , you would just keep the aces. If you are not doing that, then you are playing incorrectly.
Never ever hold 2 pair, such an armature move. You have better odds at making more by gambling on just holding the higher top pair or if it's a 2 card pair. Ugh
The decisions we made were mathematically correct and they can be proven to be correct by analyzing the hands with video poker software, which we use at home. You always hold two pair in double double bonus, unless one of them in aces. In that case, you would just keep the aces.
SMH . Brutal to watch
At least, sticky buttons, DOES NOT VOID THE WIN.
Oh YAY! Oh Yeah!! ..... Oh No... Oh NOOOO!! lol
When you hold two pair and one is payable looking for a full house and eliminating any chance for a quad is just stupid.
No its not, its WAY easier to fill in a full house than it is quads. The EV on holding the 2 pair is much higher than holding one pair
And this is why we gamble. That was awesome. When you least expect it.
Nothing worse than a handpay below $1,300
Going to fast.
Thank you for not playing jacks or better
Lmao you risked 500 to win 1200 and got all excited? Play 2 hand of blackjack and you would win more
Awww that's the ironic terribleness of it, if you had won just a little bit less you could've have avoided the whole tax man encounter. Oh well, congrats anyway.
Biggest vp win ever??? You must not play much..
It was the biggest video poker win that we ever recorded. Our actual best win was $,8000 on a $2 9/6 Jacks machine several years ago. Matt and I each hit one.
I don't know where you people learned how to play poker but I sure wouldn't play the way you guys do
We practice with video poker software that lets us know if we make a playing error. Here is what we use - www.americancasinoguidebook.com/video-poker-software.html Is there particular hand you want to discuss?
By far the most boring gambling video I've ever watched.
