I get this complaint so often when I do covers... The reason "vocal effects" (please stop calling it autotune, because it's not always autotune), are put on most covers of vocaloid songs is because people want to mimic the vocaloid/utau robotic sound. We aren't doing it to be hipster autotune gremlins.
I can't decide if I like this version or not. I love the emotion in it. Though the breathiness is somewhat annoying. I'm torn.. Love the song though! edit: Nope I'm in love with it!
possibly using adobe after effects or premier- The software allows you to create 'puppets' out of still images, albeit more effective for slow and or small animations though. Mostly for gentle movement. they likely created points on the image where the program could 'bend' and distort the image over a timeline. If you set it to move say a small amount, from point A to point B over 4 minutes of time the program will work it out accordingly for you. :) I hope that makes sense? x)
Deeply honest, speaking frankly, I could hear his lisp engrish behind the voice effects, he does sound cool anyways so I just don't give a poo about his little lisp, I still would repeat this cover endlessly
i dont get why people are complaining about the "breathiness" in his voice. i think it sounds really nice and it adds to the emotion of the song
It's pretty neat hearing a singer and vocaloid sing the same song, each one's really impressive.
