I never really cared for Cyndi Lauper all that much but when I heared this version of the song as done by Dilana, I was in tears. She was so moving with that song.

Another observation, and I have heard this in other revenues as well. Supernova has some talent there - no doubt about it. But you couldn't help but be impressed by the house band in this series. At times, I believe they outdid SN itself. This acoustic work by Jimmy is a classic example.
In my opinion the reason why they didn't choose Dilana was because of her song writing. She was the best performer by far, but when they wrote their own songs, her lyrics were corny. Even Supersoul's lyrcis were corny as hell. They need someone to write lyrics to the songs already written, and she wasn't the one.
I heard that Supernova didnt pick her cuz she stood out a lot. They said that if they picked Dilana, it would've been like Dilana and Supernova. Its a total compliment to her talent. Yeah her song writing sucked somewhat but you can always hire songwriters. Lukas Rossi just fit in better as a band.
For your information, there are plenty of people using the internet whose native language isn't English. Complaining about grammar and spelling is a very low way of trying to make yourself look good. And if we're going to complain about grammar, where did you learn to put a capital letter after a comma? Also, don't use a capital letter to begin a noun in the middle of a sentence ("Idiot"). If you're going to complain about grammar, at least learn it yourself. Finally, music is subjective.
Isnt this basically the same thing though only with people being 'rockers' or whatever? Everyone would try to be better than D or Lukas....one being impossible and the other extremely easy but irritating....
Dilana is a passionate, powerful artist who commands the stage every time she steps out there!! She is the best of the best!!! xox
