My children are Mexican. I have a daughter named Jacinta. After her grandmother Jaye. Tough lady. In Mexico different dialects in each state of Mexico. Further you go down to Mexico you hear the dialect and speed of talking is faster

It's nice to able so say names and cities and countries in their oriiginal form, but it's not necessary. Not many of us say Москва (pronounced Moskva in Russian) for Moscow. As for Barrera, it's hard for English speakers because the word has "rr" and "r" which not only have a rolled "r" (not a sound in English) but the "rr" and "r" do not sound the same. You have to make that distinction to be accurate.
