I have said this before, but I truly believe that situations where you (Jake) are caught off guard in the fight, down in the health/weapon/position advantage are probably the most helpful for me as a viewer. Anytime I hear you say "I'm dead", I fully engage, lean in, and get ready to replay the battle multiple times. So I would implore you to keep those segments in or even focus on them. I think at this point most of us know how to win the fights that are in our favor, it just comes down to execution. The decision making when we believe we are full dead, distinguishes one tier of a player from the next. Great video as always.
Jake, I've been watching/studying your videos for a while now, and finally the stars aligned and I had a perfect EJ game. I dropped and looted a relatively uncontested area, rotated and got a forecast tower, rotated again and got a bunker and modified my weapons. I was patient with my sniper shots, reloaded timely, and religiously used right shoulder peek in fights. I used cars to rotate. I shot a wings user out of the sky. And when there were 3 of us left and I heard shooting, I quickly ran to third party that fight and won the game. You put all that in my head, and it's hard to physically execute on a consistent basis, but sometimes you just have a game. Thank you.

Just my opinion on current vs old recordings. When it comes to the meta and the weekly changes then I much appreciate that you're so up to date on it because I come to you for all of my updates and current knowledge. But when it comes to just battle royal tips and tricks and/or gameplay for entertainment then I don't care in the slightest if the video is current or not because the fundamentals of a BR don't really change with meta changes. Not sure if that helps you or not but that's my feeling towards the gameplay videos. 👍🏻

Jake: So I know the medallion player probably got forecast so let's use his movement to predict where the next storm circle will likely be and play off that.

I love watching your videos to learn new skills and improve gameplay. I have had a couple games where I’m in a g wagon and another person pulls up behind me in a car and follows me around. I don’t know what to do in that situation so iv been leading them into danger. What do you do in that situation or if they jump in your car with you?

Explanation: Deadzones on controller are currently only registering above 10% so if you have a Deadzone of 5% that first 5% of movement/aim doesn't register until past the 10%+ mark, then registers the movement/aim all at once. If replicable, how: In the settings put the Deadzone to 5% and move the stick slightly, the in game indicator circle won't move until past the 10% but it will suddenly jump up to that 10%+ mark Platform: PC, PS5 and PS4 please its been months we have been reporting this bug on discord. I'm just trying to raise awareness for this bug.

27:14 sniper rarity can make a difference if you happen to get the Ares medallion, gold sniper, i think purple too, should kill someone at full health with 2 body shots instead of 3.

Getting into the car is just a quick button
Getting out is having to press and hold for like, 1s-ish, so its probably the mad panic in the heat of the moment and thus never getting out

i feel like the stamina mechanics need to be changed because you have to wait about 5 seconds for your stamina to even begin recharging and then an additional couple seconds for it to actually recharge and with no infinite movement this season it means you’re forced to use your sprint more than last season so i really think it should be changed
