2 year ago I had almost made one of the biggest mistakes of my life, that was, I was about to drop Gintama. I had started watching Gintama since I was curious about why it was so highly rated and praised by many individuals. I got to about episode 10 and although I didn't hate it, I wasn't too particularly fond of it and didn't find it to be as funny as advertised. Thus, I was turned away from it and stopped watching and considering dropping the show for good. That was until I saw a clip posted from Gintama "Shogun at the Pool" that left me in tears and so I decided to pick it back up and give it another chance. 30 episodes later I was hooked and holding back tears at most of the episodes. 2 year later, here I just finished watching all of the Gintama anime . As someone with over hundreds of animes watched, I still cannot get over how amazing this show is and how you can be laughing your ass off . When I first watched Gintama, most specifically the first 10 episodes, I have never thought that this anime would be this deep, despite their ridiculous antics in the comedy arcs.... So much depth to their characters. I love how their comedy blends into their serious moments, making you appreciate the characters even more. Gintama is a legendary anime . It's my favorite show..
if you want to watch gintama, but too overwhelmed by lots of episode, just begin from gintoki's baby, benizakura, yoshiwara, and congrats you will enjoys gintama
