When submitting a new application through immi portal, under Family dropdown there are two options which are confusing. 1. Sponsorship for a partner to migrate to Australia (300, 309/100, 820/801) 2. Stage 1 - Partner or prospective Marriage Visa (300, 309/100, 820/801) Home affairs' Eligibility requirements clearly mentions "2 years must have passed since you applied for the combined 820 and 801 visa for you to be eligible to be assessed for the permanent visa. " Please note the word "Combined" It is confusing that which one to apply as both seems to be combined 820 and 801. I am already put in an application for Stage 1 but I am worries about "Combined" word. Please steer me in right direction as I have paid nearly $9000 for my partner's visa application stage 1.

Hey my application is supposedly escalated from the 15th of September. But I haven’t received an email confirming this but every time I call they say it’s Been escalated. Should I call them and ask for an email confirming this or if they say it’s been escalated then that’s it ? And would you know how long this escalation process takes ?
