Grab the MED9 adapters from MMS and use Flex to use on bench - 5 mins work for both ECUs. Also Flex and X17 have been able to do the GS19 TCU on the 6HP forever. I've been tuning these boxes for nearly 10 years with X17 at first then Flex when the protocols got rolled in.
@ that’s more about the software in the modules rather than the tool protocol. You can write anything you want to the GS19 TCU using bench. If you’re trying to get it to work with ME7.1.1 on the C5 then you’ll need to establish CAN compatibility.
@grahamek86 can compatibility is what I'm trying to figure out how to do.. I've heard it's a pain to do but once done it works good. I have a c5 and next time the box goes I need an option to make it bullet proof because doing the gearbox is an expensive gig and takes too much of my time, soul and money. I'd probably scrap it if the box goes and there's no sensible options.. Any clues, do I need specific stuff like a can to hex - hex to can converter or such? Any tips are greatly appreciated!
@@R6AAO I've never personally been involved in a 6HP conversion for the C5 so afraid I'm of limited use here. What I would recommend, and have been involved in many of, is a manual swap. I definitely wouldn't scrap the car for when the 5 speed lets go.
The problem isnt the gearbox because its holding 890nm quite comfortably. 590hp is stock hp but the torque is the modified output... Shes struggling to rev so it might be time to check the timing system as struggling to rev is a sign of faulty or worn tensioners and guides... What is the oil pressure like through the pull and is the timing being pulled?
I’ve not got a problem with the box power wise, it’s driving wise, I like to make sure everything is in place before I do anything. She revs clean now!
@Phil-Cooper then the plot thickens because you should be able to replicate it on the Dyno... I know what you mean, it's the lifting to change gear and the gear is slamming which is what happened to my 5hp which was caused by 2 sensors failing at the same time. One was gear select and the other I can't remember but I think it had trans in the name... If that helps any I wouldn't know...
I’ve always hated dyno tuning gearboxes, they need to be driven imo to be setup! Going to stock it while it’s low power and see how it reacts after a full adaption
I had the flexi ones on originally but they were not strong enough 😀only ones what I found at Mallory “help your self “ were those 😂 glad Phil sorted with some poshhhh ones

Dont know about you but Wouldnt you want not to have to jumpstart a car thats going on a dyno. Didnt he replace the batttery or he just keeps charging it up Obviously the battery is shot and going on a dyno like that????
Those small lithium jump packs are good until you have a dead dead flat battery unless the jump pack can see a small current they don’t output anything so for people dealing with cars that can go completely dead get a proper Clarke 12/24 jump pack full size 12v and 24v 1000cca had mine 2 years used it excessively and for things it wasn’t meant for and it still holds up perfect

I have an 2007 Audi Allroad TDI V6 ASB 233 with zf 6hp 19JMQ. The gearbox can be remaped vía OBD?

I am surprised that those clamps that where on the fuel hoses not did cut trough them, pretty dangerous in a hot engine bay glad you swapped those.
