Yes when I had it relaxed I high school
Now being a 4a/3c hair I leave it only tied with a bandana or headband
I used to leave it down always everydays until the hairdresser tighted the braids then I lost a bit of my edges now I have had it covered since 2019 .
My edges are back but I still feel uncomfortable with it
