Engine oil change is easy - filter is easy to get at, drain plug is easy to get at, and a gallon of oil is no biggie for a drain pan. The thing that is a PIA is the transmission oil (UDT2).... 3 Gallons and drain plug is of course at very bottom of machine. Only way I can see to drain effectively is to lift this 1,700lb machine to facilitate draining 3 Gallons of oil into a suitable container or pump out via fill port on top. Yellow HST filter is of course easily accessible. Main transmission filter is underneath machine but not too hard to deal with. Anyone have any advise (yes, British spelling rules) ?

No clue, never had to do that change.
Nice. thank you.
Thanks for watching!!
Aren't you supposed to use 15w40 ?
I think so I use kubota 15w40 in mine
10W-30 or 15W-40 diesel oil.....I would pick 15W-40 (higher HTHS) due to lawn mowers used in hotter conditions, but 10W-30 is also Kubota approved.
I got the oil from the dealer, this is what they told me to put in it.
Manufacturer recommends 15W40 for the SD1211
You over. Tightened thee filter
What is the proper way to tighten the filter?
