I’m so happy you did this! I was testing myself to see how much I could understand, and I think I got about 75% (I didn’t know how to put in subtitles but that worked in my favor). I was mesmerized, I don’t even mind that I came for sleep but found this jewel tonight, I’ll just pop in another to drift off. The work is beautiful! So glad you enjoyed your trip. ✨
Listening to Gibi speak Spanish makes me want to try learning another language again. I learned French in school because I live in Canada, but I always wanted to learn Spanish. I only managed to get into one Spanish class in highschool because there was usually never enough students applying to the course to fill a class. My sibling applied the year before they graduated and didn't get in because there weren't enough students, I got lucky and got in the following year. It was a fun class. I saved all my school work from that class incase I ever wanted to continue learning the language. Now I can review my notes to give myself a refresher before I take an online course. I never really liked learning French because it was a requirement, meanwhile, learning Spanish was my choice so I enjoyed it way more. I guess it's the difference of being forced to do something vs choosing to do something.
