Top Gun! Team Slider. I am LOVING this challenge/collab. The talent, imagination and creativity that you all possess is unreal. I have bypassed so many items in the DT because I dismissed them as useless in crafting. However you ladies can see a project in everything. Thank you for the inspiration to think more creatively. My husband's all time favorite movie--TOP GUN. He is a Navy veteran and was onboard the USS Intrepid as a jet/helicopter mechanic, so this movie brings back some fond memories for him but also some bad ones. Team Goose! (P.s. My husband is going through a rough patch right now as a former oral cancer patient that had his tongue amputated and all his teeth removed. He was 9 years cancer-free. Two weeks ago we got news that he may have pancreatic cancer, the same type that took his brother several years ago. We will see his oncologist again on 3/9. Please keep him in your thoughts, or prayers, if you talk to a Higher Power. Thanks everyone.)~Debbie Z

I use the crackle finish in a lot of my decopauge projects using napkins. You can use a hair dryer or just let it dry on its own. If you use a thicker layer of paint, you'll get bigger, wider crackle and if you use a thin layer, you'll get smaller crackles closer together. Also the movie was Top Gun. I was a teen in the 80's and they had the best movies, music, fashion, best decade ever!!😎❤️

Loved the planter idea you did with the triangles. And then my favorite was how you used pop sickle sticks for the Planck wood look and that bunny was adorable!!!!! And loved that idea for the candle stick.
I think I remember from the eighties (we called it country then, not farmhouse) the crackle will work even if you just let it dry. No heat needed. That just speeds it up.
Cindy Dolezal you are so right. Farmhouse is just rehashed Country from the eighties. I still have Country Blue countertops in my kitchen. We built our house in 1990, so it hung around awhile.
@@holly5791 yes I loved when my colors in our home was country blue and ivory. On the outside the cedar was stained light gray and the shutters were country blue. After we did this we had 7 neighbors paint their homes in these colors. We sold that home and this home is in the pale olive green, not the blue green sage.

Loved all of these. I think I would have made a succulent garden with those triangles. Loved all these. Candle trick was my fav but the signs with the animals was very creative.

I have NO IDEA what I could have possibly done with those mystery items, but everything YOU made was truly inspired! WOW! I really love the triangle basket!! The tiered bowl was great--with its crackles and slightly changed stem (even without the rope)! The raffia basket was VERY cool; you are so smart! And your checkered bunny is adorable!!! Movie: Top Gun, Team: Meg Ryan (I just loved how she & Goose were together, but ALL of the characters in that film were EXCELLENT!)
