The answer of interactive questions: Q1: The relation between cancer head of pancreas and obstructive jaundice is that the bile duct joins the main pancreatic duct in the head of pancreas ,so the cancer spreads from the head of pancreas to the duct causing obstructive jaundice. Q2: The tail of pancreas is at high risk during splenectomy operation because it is in a close relation with the splenic artery in the lieno-renal ligament ,so During ligation of the splenic artery, the tail of pancreas may be injured by mistake and it can't be healed easily because of its content of the pancreatic juice.
