Love that Nice Price inner sleeve with the picture of Dynasty by KISS. Original Soundtrack, In Flame and Boulders, all classics. I have an horrendous Morning is Broken choir memory from primary school days where our class ended up singing it in the local chapel for an audience of pensioners despite none of us knowing the words beyond the first couple of lines.
So I’m not the only scarred by the Cat man! Good to know ! Yep I have a soft spot for those budget labels of the 80’s as they were such a good way to build a collection on a pocket money budget 👍🫡🇬🇧
Yeah! He also persuaded me to swap my copy of 'Dressed to Kill' for a knife - which he brought into school. We did the swap openly during our Biology class - different times. I've guessed your author btw.

That Roy Wood album was one of the very first full price albums I bought. I used to love the guy, and was often painting pictures of him in my school's art class (remember the Wizard face paint). You're right, it's eccentric to the max, but great fun. 'Dear Elaine' was a fabulous single. 'The Original Soundtrack' is a brilliant album too. Audiophile standard. As for 'The Official' 2025 Vinyl Tag, I'm looking for Rob Walker's 'Official Vinyl Tag 2025' which I hope will be coming very soon!

I admit it; I have some Spandau Ballet LPs, including the ones you showed! What a strange cover of Cuts Like a Knife. Those first two Queen records are almost impossible to find. Very cool Kravitz find! Is the author Irvine Welsh?

I keep finding records in charity shops that are scratched to hell, they still want, or hope, for quite a lot of money for them. Did find a whole load of John Denver albums recently, all pristine, for a pound each. I suppose he's not cool, but i like him.

Unbelievably I gave away the lyric sheet to Queen II to a lad in my class at secondary school who was moidering me for it.
