• The original WAIS (Form I) was published in February 1955 by David Wechsler, as a revision of the Wechsler-Bellevue Intelligence Scale, released in 1939.
• (RISB) = Rotter Incomplete Sentences Blank
• The Rotter Incomplete Sentences Blank is a projective psychological test developed by Julian Rotter and Janet E. Rafferty in 1950.
• (TAT) = Thematic Apperception Test
• TAT was developed by Morgan and Murray in 1935.
• (MMPI) = Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory
• In 1939 The test was developed by clinical psychologist Starke Hathaway and neuropsychiatrist J.C. McKinley, two faculty members at the University of Minnesota.
• Dementia Praecox
• The disorder we know today as schizophrenia was originally called dementia praecox, or early dementia, by Emile Kraepelin (1883).
• Compared this term with Alzheimer’s disease which occurred in later life.

These cues can lead participants to change their behaviors or responses based on what they think the research is about. Demand characteristics are problematic because they can bias your research findings.
Self-fulfilling Prophecy
• In a self-fulfilling prophecy an individual's expectations about another person or entity eventually result in the other person or entity acting in ways that confirm the expectations.
Double-blind
• A double-blind study is one in which neither the participants nor the experimenters know who is receiving a particular treatment.
• Interneurons (also known as association neurons) are neurons that are found exclusively in the central nervous system. i.e Found in the brain and spinal cord and not in the peripheral nervous system.
• Amygdala
The main job of the amygdala is to regulate emotions, such as fear and aggression. The amygdala is also involved in tying emotional meaning to our memories. reward processing, and decision-making.
