Hi all!. I am argentinean. I´ve just discovered this song now and I think it's fantastic. I like it because I never thought before a typical argentinean dialect could sound so great in an english song.
I loved this song as a teenager and so I listened to it the first time I got to Buenos Aires on a rainy day about 5 years ago. Now I love the city and want to go back when this stupid pandemic is over.
Weird that in a song about Argentina, the Spanish used is of a Peninsular dialect rather than Argentine. Or, why is the command to close the windows (CERAD) in vosotros when Argentine Spanish wouldn't use that form? I
