    Good Day MeKenze🥰. Thank you so much for sharing. It’s more cost effective to live in Kenya than in the US! But that is very obvious!!! Your grocery haul would have been over $300 dollars here especially with all the self stable items you purchased and the chicken breast! I believe if a good income can be generated in Kenya, living can be very enjoyable especially if you are in the village community areas. Enjoy your haul and your day. Blessings and Favor continue to be your portion! 💜🥰🌹🙏🏾🫶🏾🙋🏾‍♀️

    200 dollars every 10 days is for the high end families in Kenya. Most families in Kenya of that size it is less than 200 dollars for a full month. To save money, most Kenyans would not shop much in supermarkets, they buy from local food stores fresh food from the farms

    I'm Kenyan in Kenya. By American standards, the shopping seems fair priced. By Kenyan standards, this is still pretty steep. I think it's the frozen foods that inflated the total. The only thing frozen in my freezer (and for many Kenyans) is some meat and mostly left-over food.🙂. That said, I want to get me some frozen SAMOSAS!!!!!!!!

    • @Mekenzeinkenya
      @Mekenzeinkenya Місяць тому +1

      Yes I agree with you 100%. I understand this isn’t a typical Kenyan style of shopping. It’s the American side coming out that loves buying a big variety of things.. and yes the frozen things are not cheap. The grocery prices have gone up significantly here even over the past year.
      I haven’t tried the samosas yet but I’m excited to try.
