I know it’s been a while since this video was made but I just want to praise the Lord because He talked to me through you in this video and just after I went to read my bible and I said “Holy Spirit I know you want to talk to me and I’m going to read that passage until I heard you” and while I was reading Galatians 3:26-28, I was in the expectancy and guess what?? I wasn’t understanding the point between verse 26 and 27 and at one point i heard a thought in my head it was like it popped up just like that and I knew it was the Holy Spirit and I’m soooo full of joy right know!!! This story of Job reminds me of when I was going through a trial and the enemy was putting horrible thoughts in my head and I finally in the pain of this lie I chose to get on my knees and praise God anyway and as soon as I did that it LIFTED! Hallelujah!!!!

I'm in the middle of 12 month long battle (spiritual warfare), came into the faith because of demonic attack. God revealed them to me, I suppose like Job there's no hedge around me, he's building my character (making me tougher, more obedient). One day full deliverance will be gratefully received, areas where am not quite in alignment to God are still still being revealed to me

Watched this 7 months later but its like this is exactly what i need to hear about listening to God. My friend gave me a plan Reading Bible in A Year, starting from the Old Testament. And im currently reading about Moses. I was thinking like, this is alot to read 😅. And here you said, start from Gospel first to understand God's grace. And i just started yesterday reading book of John. And not going to rush but will take my time to really meditate and understand what God really speak to me like what you said. It doesnt have to be the whole chapter. Btw, ive read the Gospel before, but i read it like a text book, like a history book, so i gain nothing, i understand nothing. But recently, reading the Word of God feels different. And i didnt feels like im being forced to, like, if i didnt read my bible, im not a good Christian. Now, its like every second i yearn to hear his voice, i want to know what He wants to tell me. I cant explain how i feel in my heart...its like WOW, this happiness, joy in side me, like im so excited in my heart, but i dont know why or what i am excited about. Yes..yes...yes. I now see Jesus as my best FRIEND. I do not take Him lightly...but at the same time...I see His compassion...His love...His "wanting" to help me each day. The bible is God's Word that put His life into us. Last fall.. He spoke to me over and over Proverbs 3:5,6 and Isaiah 55:8,9. I agree completely with you that it's often better to just read a few chapters in the bible each day...and concentrate on those. Chew a little on the Word each day. And...ask God what He wants you to read. You will begin to hear Him actually prompt you to read certain scriptures. That's what I do now. But seek Him on what He wants "you"...personally, to read. This gets exciting as you rely on Him to guide you.
