As soon as it comes to landscape design, most prefer to stick to simple, time-tested schemes and solutions. However, there are also those who are trying to take a risk by creating an unusual decor of their site. Thanks to such experiments, art objects with an attractive appearance and original design have become popular. How to organize art objects correctly and where to use them? This will be discussed in our video.
Types of landscape art
Before trying to create an original sculpture or decorative element on your site, it is important to determine the category of landscape art in which the art object will be executed. At the moment , the following groups can be distinguished:
- Formal art. This category is best represented by classical gardens, which were decorated with wrought iron obelisks and stone sculptures. Also an element of formal art is a sundial, majestic statues and columns that create an "old world" feeling in the garden.
- Semi-formal art is a direction that embodies something everyday and more modern. Often this type of landscape art serves as the personification of the gardener's personality, his taste and preferences. Among the art objects of this type, one can note animal sculptures, geometric decorative elements made of metal and unusual moving objects.
- Everyday (uncomplicated) art - includes a large category of art objects, which include household items that have been given a second life thanks to a creative approach and a good sense of humor. Here, the decoration of the garden becomes an object that serves as the embodiment of human fantasy, for which there are no restrictions.
