I love the idea of you doing a SU video once a month, that’s why I started following you many years ago. I am a SU demo in Australia and have always looked for scrapbooking videos that use SU products. I am so glad you found a FB group recently that I am an Admin for along other ladies around the world. I hav3 always loved your style and you are a great inspiration, just wish I had more time to scrapbook. Can’t wait for your future videos.😊
Thanks Tina! I was thrilled to find your group and cannot believe I hadn't found it earlier. I thought I was alone in the SU scrapbooking world and now I found a world wide group! Thank you for making this happen! Thanks for watching as well!
Awesome LO Dorothy! I loved it. Ive found that stampin up products are very versatile to use on scrapbooking layouts and I’ve used their products for quite a awhile now and I love them. Glad they’re going to incorporate some of close to my hearts items as well going forward. Thanks my friend for sharing as always and have a great weekend. 🎣💕🎣
Thanks Debi! I have tons of SU tools but very little CTMH. CTMH did not sell in the province where I live. The few tools I have are second hand tools and a few gifts items my sister gave me. (I love them though!) Thanks for watching!
A fabulous scrapbook page and delighted to see a You Tube Scrapper use texture (the cord in box and round the fish) as opposed to the flat stickers off sticker sheets. Many thanks
Gorgeous layout, Dorothy! I love all of the little details that you added to your clusters. I’m excited to see how you use the SU products that they’re starting to offer. 😊
I or no one in my family is into fishing, but this layout is fantastic! I'm excited you'll be doing a SU products scrapbooking series. I love your style.
Great layout! I have so many fishing layouts to make as my husband goes fishing regularly. Next month he’s off to BC for Sturgeon/Rainbow trout fishing. Thanks for sharing Dorothy!
I love that you will be sharing videos done with SU products. I have used them for years for cards, but always found that they came up short for Scrapbooking, especially in how they packaged their 12 x 12 card stock. I have noticed that they are now packaging their two tone 12 x 12 card stock in a very appealing manner. They have a variety of complimentary colors packaged in one set.
I'm pretty excited about SU offering scrapbooking items. Hopefully I can give you some inspiration. Do you follow Crafty Concepts with Erin on UA-cam? She is great at offering SU inspiration. Thanks for watching!
@@ScrapbookingQuebec yes, I follow Erin! I also follow Jayma Malme, who is now with SU. Actually, everyone on that Creative Design Team does awesome layouts.
Great layout! I love all your little tips along the way when putting your page together. I look forward to your videos and am working my way thru the older ones, getting so many awesome ideas and motivation. Thanks!
Fabulous layout Dorothy! I had no idea you are an SU demonstrator, I was excited to hear you announce that and looking forward to the layouts you create with SU products. Well I look forward to all of your layouts but I’m still excited 😂
Since 2013...lol! I was with CM before that. I would have loved to join CTMH but it was never available in Quebec. Thanks for watching! (I'm quite thrilled YOU are with SU now....I'll finally have some of the same tools as you!
I absolutely love your spread! All the wonderful fishing pieces that you created - awesome! I am so glad that you are going to doing some Stampin' Up videos, I know you will have wonderful responses. Thanks so much for always taking the time to share, hugs ~ Roni Sue
Hello Dorothy, I've been trying to curb my spending, but I really need those fishing stamps and dies. My parents house (now ours) is on a river and I have loads of fishing photos from friends and relatives fishing there and/or fish fries over the years. I no longer go out there and the property taxes and other costs are getting out of control (it's about an hour away, depending on traffic, so I'm ready to sell; however, I have 3 other siblings who cannot agree on a realtor). I haven't scrapped many of those photos because I haven't been able to find papers I like. Clustering the fishes in the way you did was clever and gave me a fabulous idea. My dad was an avid fisherman and I have a 60+ year old newspaper photo of him and 2 other gentlemen holding up a long string of fish (like a banner), which is now inspiring me to dig that out and create a page as soon as the stamp & die set arrives. Love how you filled up the tackle box with all the bobbers, weights, hooks, etc. Such a fun double-page layout. Thank you so much for sharing your process for the 2 pages. BTW, I think there is a rather large ECD tree die that may have worked on this page...it could be a Christmas tree though, it's been a while since I've gone through those dies. Have a wonderful rest of your weekend!
Hi Cindy! The table box is super cool. As for the ECD tree die...I have it and LOVE it! I tried it and it still seemed off scale...that's why I ended up with leaves. (I had the same thought as you!) Thanks for watching! Are you safe from this hurricane?
When purchasing vellum for printing, look for a product that is made for laser and inkjet printers. They are made for wedding invitations, etc. The product I have now I bought on Amazon a long time ago. It's a "Dowsabel" product and there are 100 8 1/2x 11 sheets.
I love your layout!! Absolutely gorgeous. You used a flip up card, so I'm assuming you don't slip your pages into page protectors? Has this ever caused an issue?
Thank you! As for the flip, I store them under my page protectors. I don't like cutting slits in page protectors because I fear they may tear over time. The photos under the flips are always extra photos. It's like a storage method. I always put a tab or indicate in my journaling that there are photos under the flap.
Thank you! I didn't use green...what you are seeing is probably SU Wild Wheat. Most of my tackle stamping was second generation stamping, so it's a little faded. Thanks for watching!

Love this page. What a great idea to make a wood tackle box with the black dividers.
Thank you!

Thanks Kim!
You did a great job of creating your own embellishments and the layout is great, as usual! Jeannine
Thank you so much!

When I've printed on vellum before it smears. What are your tips and tricks for printing on vellum please??

Thanks for the information! I really appreciate it.
I have this stamp and die set and love it! What color green did you use for the fishing lures?
Thank you! I didn't use green...what you are seeing is probably SU Wild Wheat. Most of my tackle stamping was second generation stamping, so it's a little faded. Thanks for watching!
