I never thought about as the deck technically has so many ways to get to legendary ocean. Beyond warrior of Atlantis, terraforming and the card it's sellf being 7 copies right there. Foolish goods and electric jellyfish can send it to grave and sea stealth attack can bring it out of the grave so that's kinda like a pseudo 8 copies right there. S.S.A.2 counts as umi on field and grave and maiden of the aqua counts as a copy as well. So that's another pseudo 3. Adding it all together u have 18 copies and pseudos. Prosperity also helps see it. I also feel that maiden of the aqua basically fills the role of og umi but better. She's a niche use mainly to be brought out with dark reef if needed. I Feel like playing og umi would a niche but for a reason than maiden and I feel like out of the 2 maiden would be better if that makes sense
You should really cut Terraforming, if not to flex. Yeah the field spell is needed to make the deck work, but it does nothing on its own. Terraforming is bad when top-decking as much as while already having Umi, and it's one more way to lose to Droll.
If you are stuck to top decking in yugioh then you’ve already lost. Dont worry, your deck functioning properly is better than bricking a bunch because you don’t have open the field spell
The same argument can me maybe about warrior of atlantis and the field spell itself, espically when top decking. Maybe we should cut those to but what does the deck now we cut terraforming, warrior or altantis and a legendary ocean? The cards don't do anything in their own and just lose to droll and ash blossom
Ok but dropping droll on any deck can end the duel right there. But when over half your Deck has avenues to one card then ash blossom isn't even a factor at that point.

This deck lacks of both follow-ups and draw power, thus your draws have to be always alive in order to keep the control. Terraforming only gives you consistency when you open with it, otherwise it's just a dead draw and, considering you won't probably be able to close the game fast, the former has lesser chances than the later. But most importantly, as I said, it gives you no more than a presence, which isn't worth nearly as much as risking to be unable to resolve Fish Sonar or Kairyu Shin or Prosperity.

If your Deck is set that your top deck isn't a dead card then you can't call it inconsistent. Garnets aside of course
