Hi mate, Just looking for a bit of clarity because I've been living under a rock for a while!.. When someone says 'straight pipe a car' does that mean removing the dpf and dpf delete?
@@zaizainjamal dpf is in diesel cars mate this beast is a v8 petrol. and when most people say straight pipe they mean primary decats and removing the resonator. They lose their amg tone when the resonator is removed. there is a step above primary decat and that is to replace the standard collectors with long tube headers, it frees up the mid range and makes them pull much stronger and further 2xs as loud as primary decat, ive done this on mine ;)

I used to get annoyed at cyclists that did that too, until I looked into it. They do it because it makes it safer to overtake. If they were in front of each other, they would be double the length and it's more tempted to do a shitty overtaking maneuver. Riding side by side makes sure that you give them enough room while overtaking - it forces you to have to wait until no vehicles are appraoching from the opposite direction, which is when you should actually be safely overtaking cyclists. It doesn't help when they do it and act like arseholes but every motorist should have to ride a bike while a wanker in a 4x4 overtakes you and nearly takes your life because they don't know how to drive...

The car came with Full Mercedes history and only 55k miles when I bought it....BUT it was in Mercedes trying to get fixed more than I had the car on the road. Needless to say after 9 months of ownership I got rid. Shame though as the engine was absolutely epic....

I’m guessing it is to protect cyclists from on coming traffic. There may be an obstruction for oncoming traffic further up the road pushing it out over the lane on a blind corner. Cyclist positioned closer to the centre line meets head on car in a blind corner = not awesome time for anyone.
Had both, still got my C63 estate. To be honest m3 is definitely the sharper drivers car but the engine and sheer madness of the C63 with an MSL remap is where it's at.
