Thank you for showing us this magnificent garden, Danielle. 🌻I adore seeing Longwood gardens; I really appreciate your taking us there with you.🌷🥀 Isn't it so pretty this year, with the African ball marigolds everywhere around the water feature? Gorgeous!💚💛💚
Danielle, you just have a gift for taking us on a special journey, whether it’s in your own garden or a magnificent space like Longwood! Thank you for sharing this lovely video; it brings peace to my heart. ♥️
Thank you so much for the tour. The gardens are so beautiful and as you said you can learn so much from their combinations. I love what you do so much. 😊
What a wonderful start to my day! Thank you for these tours - I used to live near Longwood & would visit almost monthly. These tours make me realize I need to get back there soon!
Hi Danielle, thanks so much for the tour, I really enjoyed it, it's 90 degrees in CT. today so I came in and saw your beautiful video of Longwood Gardens. It was so peaceful, and I loved the all-white flower garden! I hope you had a wonderful day there, and found some inspiration for your own garden, I love to see what combinations work well together and they had some beautiful displays! 😍
Thank you so much for taking us with you Danielle🤗🌸😍What a beautiful place! I probably will never see it in person so thank you again for a wonderful tour💖
Thank you for braving the heat to show us what is being planted at Longwood. There is so much inspiration there. The garden with all of the inter planting is so beautiful!
THANK YOU Danielle for sharing this garden with us. What a wonderful combination of flowers and plants. The beginning of the video displayed giant white big pompoms. I was wondering if they were hydrangeas... Continued Blessings!
Beautiful tour of Longwood gardens. I visited there once a long time ago. Wish it was closer but it is along way away. I have rose campions in my garden as I love their color but they are a spreader. And they like to grow in the grass.
It would be awesome to walk and talk with you and Erin at Longwood! Plan a joint bus tour of Longwood and some other gardens local to there?? I'd come!
Speaking as a Marylander, here are some things I think of: Philly is close with the Liberty Bell, colonial sites, and cheesesteak; Gettysburg could easily be on the way from Ohio, you are not far from Amish historical sites in the Lancaster area (but I know there are Amish in Ohio so that may not be a draw), and you are very close to the QVC studios (modern history and a tour). Oh, and in the greater Gettysburg area you're bound to come across some potato chip factory history and factory tours. I'm sure others who live closer or in different parts of the way from OH to PA can add to this.
Do not care for this type of garden....like the shrubs that are manicured ....grasses, maples, Japanese maples, more contemporary gardens, I guess you could say....do you ever go and view these? Your own garden is very nice, but these seem intermixed with weeds...tall weeds to me😮
I’m with you. This is way too busy and messy. A garden should be calm and peaceful and elegant. Feel like I’m walking through the perennial section of Lowe’s.
Flower Garden beautiful.. 💐🌹🥰😁😘🌷😊

That germander can be trimmed like a little boxwood hedge, it is awesome.
Thank you Danielle
What a beautiful place! You are so lucky to live near it. I am about an hour and a half from the St Louis Botanical gardens.
Great video and some really interesting interplanting. It’s given me some great ideas. Thanks

Thank you your timely video! We were supposed to be there today but it’s just too hot.
❤❤❤
The ground cover we see (13:36) in the foreground is beautiful. Could you tell me what it is? Thank you ❤ Cat 🐈⬛️
Hi friend! I believe it’s English Ivy.
I'm trying to get my husband to go to longwood but I need to bribe him with history. Any historical sites to see not too far from longwood? from ohio

There's history in the Gardens themselves and about the duPonts. Museum on site. Very interesting. You will also be in mushroom country. 🍄
@karenholt9744 thank you, all very good ideas!
@pearly9979 thank you, I wasn't aware of this!
If he likes old homes Nemours and Winterthur are nearby!
