300 years ago, much respect to King Charles XII. Long live Carolus Rex. I can't help but think of how Charles XII would march his forces into Norway for one last push to restore their might with this, his final gamble. Maybe even at Poltava too.
Poltava was the final gamble, he was just lucky and strong in his will enough to continue the following years and to be allowed protection from the Ottomans
R.I.P King Karl the 12th Carouls Rex of The Swedish Empire may you forever be missed in our hearts & may your name & legacy live in the eternal glory you & it deserves.
You know I just realized, the main melody of Ruina Imperii is very similar to Lion from the North, just obviously slower and more somber. Start and end of the Swedish empire?
Hoooooly Sigmar... sounds like Boris Todbringer just rolled through with a bunch of Middenlanders. And I'm not saying that in a bad way. RIP Karl XII, your death gave us epic music.
Indeed. I'm learning as i go, i think its quite noticeable if you listen to my older covers and then new ones you can hear the difference, both in sound quality and arrangement. Im not a professional orchestrator, this is just a product of my love to music and music production, its a hobby! Thanks for listening!
@@epicscores8421 I wasn't assuming you were a professional composer, I was mainly stating my thoughts on the piece from as objective a view as I could manage.
Three-hundred long years ago, "Carolus finns ej mer."
"Hemåt fränder…"
Oh what a happy day it was
1718 worst year of my life, right after 1709 which is just before 1453.
Per Person Excuse me?
Long live the king 🇸🇪🇸🇪

Did you plan to release this just because of the date when Charles died?
I just really like this song, but yes, partly because of that.

So I'm studying for my mid-term exams at university. Maths revision has never been so dramatic before. I absolutely love this cover, keep it up!
Perfect orchestra cover, as always. Amazing job
Sabaton é uma obra prima!
Beautiful ! For the glory of Carolus Rex !
Even in orchestral form and no singing this makes me sad. Great work on this!
Absolutely unbelievable!
Could you try covering White Death, We Burn, Metal Ripper, 7743 or Birds of War if you get the chance?
Thanks
I've been waiting for this one! Thank you!
YESSSSS! Thank you so much!
How perfectly timed with the Carolus Rex re-release :)
I must say that you still can keep evolving, great work on this one!
Also: sounds just insane mixed with the original track :D
Man you are a god, thank you for this, please do Carolus rex next

How the hell did I miss this!?!
Great music! Might it be possible to have a cover of Primo Victoria? I feel like that would sound awesome in orchestra

This song is one of my favorites on Sabaton (on a top 5).
Could you do a cover of Smoking Snakes? Greatings from Brazil.
Epic!!!!!!
Ooh shit, nice. Unexpected surprise to see your take on this.
Cover my favorite Sabaton song
Sounds like a music piece that would play in the backround of a Carolean death march movie.
Well done
good cover
Respect PL

Yeah, cheers from Serbia.
The tracks are well-arranged, but the song as a whole needs depth. It's a nice piece, but it sounds flat instrumentation-wise.
