For me, this is a good example, what paragliding is NOT about... Flying in swarms of pilots, dealing with serious mid air collision risk and crowded sky... Flying is all about freedom and your own choice of flight path...
I'm really sad if you think in this way! For me it's the opposite of what you think! Montegrappa Trophy is one of the most important and searched paragliding competition all over the world, there come the best paragliding pilots from all countries, all with great flying skills and mid air collisions are very rare! If you've never flown in competitions like this you can't understand the feeling of flying this way! Paragliding is what the pilot wants, whatever it is, in competitions like this or flying alone at sunset in extreme calm air! Maybe you should be much more open mind....😉
@@lukefrompg Hi Luca! Don't get me wrong, I also like to atmosphere at the landing site, to talk to other pilots, to enjoy my landing beer together with them, to discuss thermals, make jokes etc... But when it comes to flying, I'm the type of guy that likes to fly with a group of under 10 people... Everything else is taking to much of my attention, to prevent collisions etc... I actually have been to bassano, and I promised myself, not to return to that place... I personally found it very unrelaxing, felt like a tourist in Mallorca or Oktober Fest, plus I found the scenery not very beautiful... No, again, this is not my style of flying... I also get dizzy from looking around for other pilots all the time, lots of them ignoring air rules... But, if people like it, why not... Maybe I'm just not that mass competition guy in general... Wish you always nice flights, greetings from Austria 🇦🇹, Tannheimer Tal,. .. That's where Im living, moved there because of paragliding addiction 😂 from Germany, Cologne
Hi , I'm a uk paraglider with over 20 years experience , I've tried a couple of competitions and the risk of a mid air is personally too great for me plus the safety record of competitions isnt good generally , some people like flying competitions and except the risks and enjoy them which is their choice and I wish them well. I have flown in Bassano many times staying for up to 2 months in the spring , it's my favourite European flying place but has got more commercialized and the skys have got more crowded over the last 20 years but that's the same in other popular places. I actually go there to fly out in the flats away from the mountain on my own. The local Italian flyers are really friendly and I have enjoyed eating and drinking with them afterwards as much as the flying , great people.
Che spettacolo ragazzi ,avervi visto passare sopra a casa mia ❤❤❤
Awesome bro
