Listened to this one night months ago when my whole world began to fall apart, I had everything inside of me just building up and ignoring it for a really long time and one of my playlists stared to play random songs,. When this song came up I couldn't help but think back to so many melancholic memories in my life, my first kiss, the nights I would stay up playing on the GameCube with my brothers, watching movies with my parents, everything. I couldn't help but just cry and let everything out. All the pain and guilt i carried for so long just left. And now I'm here doing much better. Don't give up you guys, life's still moving, so keep moving. There's something waiting for you beyond what you consider "the end".
This makes me feel so many mixed emotions: grief, sorrow, misery, not just negative though, I genuinely feel like the man standing above the clouds, as though I've been overcome by the sublime, the wonderous, and the amazing. It's truly remarkable, and I will say this until the day I die, on repeat, synthwave is the new classical music.
