When the caption said plan b my initial reaction was that she was taking the morning after pill and it was like good for her, having to take the time to stop (and wait however long) at the pharmacy before work, and STILL having a packed lunch and colour-coordinated outfit. Like "good for her, organized and making responsible choices" haha

My mom I'd the traveling manager for Casey's. It's unbelievable how many teachers stop by on their breaks.
Storytime:
This teacher came in one day very early so I hadn't gone to school yet and was just getting breakfast since I was gonna be late anyways. She was looking for a treat for all of her kids (Students). She had 153 students in all. I had helped her grab thinks like Casey's soda which was cheaper than regular soda and tasted the same, cheaper plates and cups, and I used my Casey's app to get her discounts on pizza. She would've only gotten 2 pizza per class, which was about 25 ish people, because it would have been very expensive. But, since the deals that day were AMAZING, she ended up being able to but 4 pizza per class with 6 2liters each. Then she bought me a quarter gallon of chocolate milk and a donut (Which was what I was going to buy before she came in). She is truly amazing and is so thoughtful. It suck that I don't go to that school. (As for the Casey's Cash, we rung up the pop first and used my $10 I already had in Casey's cash and whatever amount we just got from the pop to help pay for the pizzas. I didn't take the free money just for myself.)
Even as an adult,teachers don’t eat and never leave the school lol when ever I saw any of my teachers outside of class it blew my mind for some reason! 🤣
oh yeah, when I saw my teachers in the supermarket, I quickly go hide because I don't want no awkward interactions lol

Here are just a few things that I have had for lunches as a teacher: A kid’s leftover breakfast, a can of beans I cut my finger opening, stale crackers from the previous school year & dry lucky charms. (All separate occasions)

I am literally the teacher who chews gum all day 😂 usually because I forgot my lunch at home or the school lunch looked very sketchy...but I feel each one of these teacher's on every level 🥰
I love how they have a Therapy Dog, or the teacher has a Service Dog!
It's repetitive, but I make a massive meal that heats well at the start of the week and that's food for the week.
During winter, soup is my favourite. During warm months I love stir fry, burrito bowls, fratata or salad.
It's also a good idea to make a bit more than that and freeze half. After a few weeks, you'll have a whole backup stash of a variety of foods for when you have less energy.

American school lunches are awful. It's been a decade since I graduated but I can taste that food. I've seen school lunches from around the world and they look so yummy.

When I got to my 6th hr class around 2? My teacher would be eating lunch and for students who didn’t like the school food or didn’t eat she’s go to her cabinet and pull out crackers a banana (if we felt tired) or apple and give it to us if we were hungry or not feeling well. Bless her heart ❤️

This is so reassuring that I’m not the only one who struggles with arranging lunch! I’m a former school administrator. I let it slip once that I hadn’t had time to have breakfast or lunch that day, and students were terrified that I would die any moment. I’ve gotten much better! The key for me: I now have a fun lunch bag that I like carrying, opening, and closing!
As a high school student, I was the "I cooked last night!" one, because I cooked all my own food.
