I've been on Air for around a month or so and it's going pretty good. Still trying to dial in the presets but at the moment I"m just on Pressure without my Sensors in. My Pacifica goes up pretty high with a good amount of travel. I ride with my Van right above the top of the tire and it's around 100psi fronts and 60psi rear. This reminds me to get my repair parts sorted and in the van just incase.
I just want a smooth ride- with stock clearance/height …….
I dont understand why ive seen so many videos where people run their air lines under the car. Thats leaving the lines exposed to the elements and creating the risk of ripping them.
I ran my lines INSIDE my car. They are softly ziptied to my stock electrical wires underneath my cabin carpet. That keeps it away from the outside elements and eliminates the risk of catching/tearing on any outside obstacle.
I guess it’s all down to the installers preference and if there’s the ability to run the lines without having to drill into the tub of the car.
@@xiolage thats true. I had mine professionally installed but to ensure they ran mine inside my vehicle without drilling holes I took my interior panels out and traced the stock wiring.
The front lines run through grommets my stock wires come through in the firewall and runs underneath my carpet and back seats to the management in my trunk. For the rear they replaced 2 out of 4 trunk grommets with urethane bushings and ran the rear lines through them.
The battery is in the trunk with one of the three fuseboxes so there wasn't much fishing with wires. Since my rear air lines are so much shorter than my front lines my rear end lowers faster than my front end. I'll have to get 2 control valves so it'll air out evenly.
Certain cars it’s just easier to run under the car. Your fuel lines are tucked under there so if those are safe. it’s gonna be fine. My fronts are routed across my fuel lines covered by a plastic cover.
@@blkeclipsel2400My genesis is bagged and you cannot for the lines through the firewall, without drilling. I used a kevlar tray with bolts under the fuel tank. It should last awhile.
Maintenance really isn't that big a deal, it's going around your car checking things as you would anyway. People that don't look after their car, are not exactly people who would get air suspension anyway. Hard lines solve a lot of the other issues.
You’d be surprised how many people don’t expect the maintenance side of air suspension. Totally agree with you.
@@xiolage I think your video just made me decide against buying a car I was considering that already has air suspension lol... I'm not a car guy I just like the VIP style but I don't trust myself to do the proper maintenance 😂
@ITheorey It’s epic to look at but you’ve got to keep on top of it for sure. Saying that you don’t need to have the knowledge of a master mechanic to do it; just regular checks.

This was done as a launch offer with free fitting. I don’t think he offers fitting anymore so you’d have to do this yourself or pay someone to fit the kit. 😊
Still trying to decide whether i want coilovers or air .....
If the budget allows it, go for air!

Depending on the brand and what type of system you go for. The kit and install can be from £3500-£5000. If you add in boot builds the sky is your limit with budget. 😂
@@xiolage ah cool yeah 3p kit is around £3250 complete for my car but install costs may push over my budget, just looking at hiding everything tank etc, nothing fancy 🤙 any issues with the system so far?
No issues so far, and yep installation can vary cheap to very expensive. The best thing is to shop around and see if anyone is willing to go cheaper. 😊
