Apparently someone involved in the production died, but the whole manga is translated and it's amazing from start to finish. The anime certainly needs a remake!
I remember seeing this for the first time with a friend. Me: “That’s the 4th movement of the Beethoven 7th.” Friend: (rolls eyes) “You would know that.”
the translation is VERY loose. For example, たまごはだめ。私の物。is translated "The egg! It's all for naught! I'm done and it's my fault!" Should actually be, "You can't have the egg, it's MINE!"

There are unfair things in this world, but the fact that this manga never got made into an anime but into a 3 episode OVA shows that as race... We have failed!
What's your source for a third episode? If it exists I'd like to know more. I love Dragon Half. Every source I've found says that four episodes were planned, but a lack of interest by unknown persons led to the project being abandoned after two episodes were produced. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon_Half I'm all for continuing the series, but now they'l have to restart it so the art matches. They couldn't get away with 1993 style animation any more.

First of all, the the original lyrics are NONSENSE anyway and so their literal meanings have no importance at all. I suspect that the translator hardly tried to create English lyrics so that one CAN SING along the melody and rhythm. Also I found that it rhymes good enough...

the quality of the translation of any old anime should be taken with a grain of salt, If not badly translated, a lot of old animes had their original scripts thrown out rewritten for American releases.
