Beautiful scenery and swamp creek/river. They may not have been all big ones but I'd trade snow for that day. Love the verse at the end brother. Blessings John
I was fishing the Sante Fe yesterday when I saw a MASSIVE Snook trailing my lure. I’ve had buddies catch em on the Suwannee but this is the first I’ve seen em there, talk about a surprise seeing such a large fish in that river that wasn’t a sturgeon or blue cat. Really put things in perspective, and there I was just trying to catch a 1lb Suwannee bass when legendary fish were swimmin around.
I grew up near a town called Branford. The Suwannee, Sante Fe and Ichetucknee rivers all connect in that area! I’m happy to see you enjoy the Santa Fe as I did! Keep up the great fishing videos and God Bless! Oh, I’ll be fishing the Everglades off of US41 Tamiami in a couple weeks! I hope to see more Everglades content on your channel!
Branford where I live now. Is most beautiful place with even more beautiful people. People help each other here, smile n wave like they've known you forever.
Nice fencing around that spring to keep the gators and other things out. You wouldn't catch me kayaking or swimming in ANY water south of NC, let alone in deadly FL freshwater.
@@CreekFishingAdventures heck yea man, keep it up! Atleast you got to spend some of the winter down where you could easily catch fish it’s a struggle up here lol
Cool float and some nice scenery shots. Always love your Florida series. If you're interested, next time you make it down to southern Florida let me know and we can bend some rods.
Amen. If you want to fish a crazy spring system try the Comal, Guadalupe, and Frio river system here in Texas. Rio Grande Ciclids, spots, large, smalls, crappie, catfish, and all the sunfish.
Man that's a cool place to fish,....been there several times but not in a long time. We put in at the same place you did as I recall. We were after Bluegill, Redbreast and Shellcracker. There are some GIANTS of all three in this river and the Suwanee too as I'm sure you know. Enjoyed this video John....thanks for sharing man.
John I have to say being here in Tennessee right now, that you are making me a bit jealous seeing you fishing in my old stomping grounds...LOL GOD BLESS AND GO KATS!!!!!!
I see you replaced your drone. You included some nice shots from the drone and the underwater shots were nice as well. Well done. Looks like you had some fun. Blessings and thanks for sharing.
Beautiful area. Rum Island Springs is where you caught your little bass. I also believe that you fished Gennie Springs too. I was there at those springs last year.
If it has a motor it has to be registered, but other than that it's fine. Areas off limits will usually be blocked and there are boat ramps on the Santa Fe.
Thanks for the response. Have a bluesky boat works pro 360, considered a kayak but it more like a hybrid. Since my accident can't squat to sit in a regular kayak or use a peddle drive.
I see you seem to be enjoying the new kayak. How are you on the lighter boat making it easier to load and unload and paddle vs. The big boats having a peddle system. I know without a doubt in faster shallower water the light yak is the way to go but watching this video it's kinda hard to tell but did you miss the peddles?
It’s good to see another fellow angler suffering the one curse which haunts us all..the never ending and inevitable poke from a red breast…what a blessing and what a curse. 😂
Hey John, how are you liking the Shoalie? I know a few months ago you did a livestream with the Creek Crawler, and somebody mentioned the Shoalie, and you seemed mixed on it. I'm biased, but I don't think there's a better river/creek fishing kayak on the market than the Shoalie.
Any chance you can do a review of different kayak types, and which excels for different conditions? I know you seem to use the old towns in bigger waters, and seem to like the smaller kayak you were using for smaller water. How do you pick? It would be great for those of us that would like to pick up a kayak, and make a good choice the first time
With the choice of baits in the beginning and the bass hitting them I thought you would never have brought out the Bass Bustin Bait - NIKKO Hellgrammite. Are you still coaching basketball? As a fishing fan and a basketball addict, I would like to see you if you ever made it to East Texas, and play some hoops.
That's quite a drift on the Santa Fe..... 😎👀🎣🤿You might consider drifting the River from Worthington Springs Park to the ramp at I-75....You will need 2 vehicles....Pretty remote on that stretch of the river!!
Brother John: Thought I'd tell ya-That new Orange Craw that you were fishin' with, in the first part of this video, looks to be a real game-changer! Those Bass were all over that Lure, almost like white on rice! I wasn't too much on the second lure that you used...the Chapo...or whatever it's called. As for near the end of the video, those were some really nice Bass! Especially the biggest one that you caught! I was totally shocked and surprised that you caught as many Bass and Sunfish as you did, being that it's only the 4th of January. If today is any indication of what kind of a year that it's gonna be for you, fishing-wise, then it should be a great year for you! Love your Scripture Verse, too. Nothing can take a Christian away from God, and his love for us. I get emotional, when I think of how it is written, that, if we do sin (Whether it's momentarily, or if we even end up backsliding), that if we'll just be like the Prodigal Son, and come back to Almighty God, the Holy Bible tells us, that he will abundantly pardon us, forgive our sins and backslidings, and he will FILLY RESTORE US, for the Bible tells us that Our God will abundantly pardon!!! The Precious Shed Blood of Jesus Christ will cover every sin we've ever committed! I praise God for that! Hallelujah!!!
Sooooo many creeks and rivers and so little time! Maybe the good Lord will extend our time here on earth so we can catch more fish. Answer this for me, will there be fishing in heaven?
Great Verse John. Nothing can separate us as believers from the love of Christ! Those Swanee bass sure have a dark color! Great underwater clear footage.
I really enjoy watching your videos . I have fished the Santa Fe before what an awesome expfriends. Glad you got to enjoy it also
Beautiful scenery and swamp creek/river. They may not have been all big ones but I'd trade snow for that day. Love the verse at the end brother. Blessings John

I bet you wish you there right now, that's beautiful place, tranquility, the swanee bass look like cousins to the small bass, great video!🎣
You are right!
Nice fencing around that spring to keep the gators and other things out.
You wouldn't catch me kayaking or swimming in ANY water south of NC, let alone in deadly FL freshwater.
The drone shot are really nice the way you can see the springs.
Such a pretty float! I love that you still keep it God glorifying in your videos!
What a unique body of water. It's so clear! One of the great and exciting things about fishing is exploring unique places.
Reminds of Silver Springs, FL
Fantastic video. Very beautiful place.
I thought the Florida videos were over nice to see you still got some more in the works! stay blessed brotha
got a couple more coming
@@CreekFishingAdventures heck yea man, keep it up! Atleast you got to spend some of the winter down where you could easily catch fish it’s a struggle up here lol
Great video, the scenery was beautiful, really nice drone footage and underwater footage.
Wow how cool! That clear water is awesome.
You're making me want to go fish Florida! Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Great scenery and very clear water looks like a great time , great underwater footage, great video

@Hit me creekfishingadventures John is this really you are some fake deal? Seems a bit fishy to me....thanks.
nice to see you doing some traveling - not easy fishing such clear water but you did pretty good - looking forward to more variety through winter here
Awesome video man
I gotta get down south one of these days and catch these other types of bass 😍
Hope all is well, buddy.
yes you do
John I have to say being here in Tennessee right now, that you are making me a bit jealous seeing you fishing in my old stomping grounds...LOL GOD BLESS AND GO KATS!!!!!!
beautiful spot! Thanks for sharing
Best and most beautiful filming today John!😊
cool cool
I see you replaced your drone. You included some nice shots from the drone and the underwater shots were nice as well. Well done. Looks like you had some fun. Blessings and thanks for sharing.
Great video brother, I was just there on Monday fishing the shoreline. Not even a bite. 😔
I am enjoying your river/creek fishing videos!!! I wish we had more of them here in the Triad of NC.
Gorgeous spot!
Where did you find a choppo 60 with spinners on it ? just curious
i dont remember, somewhere i just picked it up a while back
Beautiful area. Rum Island Springs is where you caught your little bass. I also believe that you fished Gennie Springs too. I was there at those springs last year.
John can you use trolling motor on kayaks in the springs you are fishing in Florida and do they have regular boat ramps?
If it has a motor it has to be registered, but other than that it's fine. Areas off limits will usually be blocked and there are boat ramps on the Santa Fe.
there were boats on the river
Thanks for the response. Have a bluesky boat works pro 360, considered a kayak but it more like a hybrid. Since my accident can't squat to sit in a regular kayak or use a peddle drive.
Loving the videos man 😁
There is any carp in the Santa fe river?
Nice variety! That's some mighty clear water. Is that river spring fed?
Yes it is!
What rod and reel are you using ? Thanks for your time
I see you seem to be enjoying the new kayak. How are you on the lighter boat making it easier to load and unload and paddle vs. The big boats having a peddle system. I know without a doubt in faster shallower water the light yak is the way to go but watching this video it's kinda hard to tell but did you miss the peddles?
the way it paddles through current with ease makes it nice even in a river like this
Are stump knocker and shell cracker the same?
stump knocker is a spotted sunfish, shellcracker is a redear
Does the Shoalie have a front hatch?
yes it does
It’s good to see another fellow angler suffering the one curse which haunts us all..the never ending and inevitable poke from a red breast…what a blessing and what a curse. 😂
between your channel and NDYakAngler, I'm pretty content

i have used it only twice so far, but really impressed how it handles in current and small waters

Great video John. Love the Bible verses the best. Where do you get your music and who was it in this video
the music is from a website i pay for just for music
Being in Florida please be extra careful Brother, Kayak and Gators don't go well. God Bless as always and thanks for everything 🙏

How much of this river is clear vs tea colored
its mostly clear but the bottom is dark so it looks dirtier.
Suwwannee bass have red eyes most of what you are catching is smallmouth.

Your tee's have gotten expensive. Don't think they are worth that much $$
most things aren't, they charge me a lot to make the shirts
