Here is is the problem, Hasbro Pulse has been putting out new Spider-Man figures but lack quality control. The new windowless boxes have made this extremely difficult to see the problems before purchases. Multiple Spider-Man figures have arrived with defects. Hasbro do bettter and fix this, answer your emails, support your fans of Marvel Legends.

this defective issues has been a problem with 6 of my recent Marvel Legends, 2 of them this exact figure! Come on @hasbropulse respond to my videos and emails!
I just received and opened, and mine looked OK so far! I'm posing with care.

they're starting to sell insurance on action figures now. Make em cheap, break, then you want to but the insurance next time, but action figures can be made to last forever it's a bit much what they're doing now.

Hasbro needs to step up their damn quality control. Upping the price but being cheaper on the figures and packaging. Ridiculous.
Absolutely agree and trying to raise awareness. Should not have to fix anything myself for $30

I like to buy action figures and sometimes wait a few years before opening them. It would be unfortunate to buy an action figure currently and years later open it and it crumbles.

I have sent all of these issue videos and links with emails to (HasbroPulse) HasbroPR and customer service without any message on what they are doing to mitigate this.
@@otakulensphotography it's a simple fix. The toys will sit as peg warmers, and company's like mezco.mafex and s.h. figuarts along with mattel and neca will continue to get our money..

Wow that SUCKS! whatever happened to hasbro's quality control man, it's so unfortunate this happened to you, i haven't bought any marvel legends figure since they stopped using packaging plastic and oh man, this really makes me not want to, it's such a shame there's a bunch of cool looking figures with this issue going on, it simply sorta scares me, i hope they can make it up to you in some kinda way, cuz this thing is not cool, and needs to be taken care of

Got the boba Fett in a box, and his right leg was disconnected. Fortunately I was able to be snapped it back in, but was disappointed, and concerned.
What! I am glad mine was intact but had a paint issue on one of them
I personally was a long time fan of Hasbro seeing the non-plastic box pass on all the items they just don't care about the fans anymore they just want their money it shows with their quality
I have about 2 more boxed items to review and a few old windowed and I will go back to MAFEX
They just want to help the environment by using no plastic
I get it non plastic boxes aren't great for for many reasons but the approaching state of the environment is far more concerning. If you don't like the figure you get exchange it for a new one, return it, or don't get it. Hasbro going non plastic isn't them "not caring" it's just the reality that we are entering as a result of people not giving a crap about the environment for so long. Toy companies like Lego are also planing on ditching plastic packaging and it probably won't be long till we see others doing the same. The real issue's that show Hasbro doesn't care about consumers is they are rasing their prices while their quality is dropping.

This is a perfect opportunity to put another balljoint at the waist, like the mcfarlane toys, then maybe you can trim down the upper front of the torso from the inside for extra range forward.

In my experience as a Spider-Man enthusiast, in all my years of buying figures, If one fell apart like in the video, I would disassemble the general area of where that part fell (lower torso in your case) heat up all the parts, superglue the crucial points, let it sit and dry for 24 hours, with a bowl of cold water, place spidery in there, and dry him off, not sure if this tactic is effective but it’s worked for me so far
Oh god, now I'm scared. I'm expecting my preorder soon and I really hope I don't have to fix this kind of shit or paint defects!!!
I literally bought 4 of these and I fixed the 1st one that day. 2 had major issues and they sent an extra. I will post those videos soon.

4:40 And this is why I stray away from figures with double-ball peg joints. At least from Hasbro. They’re super frustrating!! While disk-hinge joints aren’t exactly perfect, they still give you more range. Anthony, you should show ‘em how it’s done.

Mine came with a paint defect. Hasbro told me I could mail it in for a replacement but they couldn't garauntee the same figure
Yep…lame when you can get it from Amazon faster & cheaper for a new one, than mailing it back and hoping for a new one

This is why the plastic covers were removed to prevent you from previewing before you buy for any QC issues

A week after I got my final swing Spider-Man from marvel Legends The bicep peg broke because they are so cheap now adays with their plastic I would love if the peg was metal or something
You can replace it with a small screw like the ones that mount the light switch plates
Easy fix it can just be glued back I customize wrestling figures and crack open the torsos and crotches on occasion a bit of super glue should fix the problem
I fixed this in about 5 minutes but I should not have to for a $30 figure 😳 honestly I wanted to raise awareness and make sure that people see this can happen. I have been a fan of Marvel Legends for years kitbashing and customizing but this was unsat out of the package

It DOES NOT matter if you’re a customiser! This is unacceptable and you ought to go and return that piece of junk for a replacement, or else Hasbro will have no reports of QC issues and it quality will continue to diminish as their prices rocket.

Yeah, it just always irks me how plenty of people on UA-cam unbox a dud and just say “oh well, I’ll just fix it up”. I mean, I guess they just can’t be bothered, but at the same time when a company charging so much for these figures they should be called out on any Bs like this. Especially since it’s a not a rare thing and is deboning a common theme.

Is good to know that Hasbro is making a great use of it profits since they don't use plastic windows for the package. Imagine if we don't have the opportunity to see the quality inside the package and the piece is in bad shape. But this doesn't happens with Hasbro!!!

Hasbro needs to stop using hollow ABS based plastics for the hips and torsos of their figures. It's 2022. Make it all out of PVC like everyone else.

🤣😂🤣 I had this Same Exact Issue with a Black Series Jawa a few years ago. I took him out of the Tray and He fell Apart from the Waist Down. Evidently the "Sonic Weld" that is supposed to hold the Front and Back Part of the Crotch Piece didn't work, just like This. A tiny drop of Super Glue and it was Good as New. Is it Annoying? Yes. Is it a Big Deal? No. It's not Lile a Snapped Joint.

My lenses paint job is slightly off, so it makes it look like he has a bit of a wider face, but I still love him either way

That is very disappointing. I have this figure ordered and was really looking forward to it. Hopefully mine doesn't just come apart like that. I like Marvel Legends, but Hasbro's constant BS is why so many fans are turning their backs on them. The QC is worse than ever with these windowless figures. :/

@@otakulensphotography I'm sorry to hear that. Amazon has a tendency to ship out weak batches for whatever reason. Thankfully the one I received has no issues that I'm aware of, but I'm being careful with that ab crunch. I think yours just wasn't glued together, but I can't be too careful! 😬
